I have been in a LDR for two years and still going strong. Will be flying out in 62 days for good this time around, Key things to keep in mind. 1. Keep it real!!!! No fantasies of each other. 2. Communication is a must. 3. Real face to face time. Meaning breathing each others air. 4. Trust. 5. Commitment 6. Realistic Goals 7. Be in agreement of who is going to move etc... 8. Timelines of when that will happen. 9. Have funtimes. Set a side date time whether it is just a game you both can play together. 10. Skype, Viber, something with camera is a must !! Something about having in coffee before hair make up etc puts a touch of reality to the couple. this is a very good summary of hints and necessities. |

LDR can be hard but you can make them work. Both of you Keep the lines of communication open. frankly I think it would be tough to maintain |

I've known people who live together who couldn't be further apart.
Tough, but where there's a will there's a way. |

My ex wife and i was in a LDR she was in the USA and I was in the UK, lots of online on phone and eventually she came over and we never looked back, lasted in total 16 years and although we are now seperated LDR can work you both need to want it bad enough

I was in LDR oversea for 2y before she moved in. We stand total 7 years and what makes it break up should have been taken care of in the first year... No regret but make sure all is ok before going too far (especially you must understand culture difference, family value, etc.)
