Haven't seen it for ages but years ago in the U.K they sold Turkish delight. It was my Fathers favourite although it's not anything like the real thing. Like a small bar of jelly covered in chocolate. Frys Turkish delight. I just tried to post a picture of it but can't 'cos I'm on my phone and I'm too stupid to be able to post pics from my phone :) |

Hi Lovely Tribu.
I had to comeback and say thank you for the recipe. I can't thank you enough. It was really really good. Do you know how to bake backlava? I've had it once and never thought it can be so sweet as in taste. Have a lovely day. |

Hi Lovely Tribu. I had to comeback and say thank you for the recipe. I can't thank you enough. It was really really good. Do you know how to bake backlava? I've had it once and never thought it can be so sweet as in taste. Have a lovely day. wowwww. i am so happy that you baked and liked it!! i thank you for trusting my recipe years years ago i made baklava. i prepared the dough myself, flattened it very thinly.it was okay. but really it is not worth spending that much effort and time. as far as i saw when googling, not only turkish restaurants, also some asian ones are selling/serving baklava. if possible, i would suggest buying it already cooked, instead of doing it urself. it's a risky cooking. i wish you a lovely day and a weekend too. xxx |
