I was talking today about things that I have studied in the past and I thought to my self, I know all these things, but what am I doing with it? I think as ppl we constantly keep things in our knowledge whether we study it or not. Then someday out of the blue we are thankful for it. There usually is a time or place for said knowledge. |

I was talking today about things that I have studied in the past and I thought to my self, I know all these things, but what am I doing with it? I don't know about what exactly you are talking about, but for myself I recently discovered, that most of knowledge I have gathered during my university years, 20 years of work-career and 40 years of life experience have become insignificant, because my values and life meaning have changed drastically. My mind have become to flea warehouse, where are some valuable pieces I would like to keep, but all the rest should be thrown away to make space for new experiences. Not easy to do though. |

And can relate.. Nothing other than high school in my case lol. Side note to avoid the fleas avoid playing with strays.... |

That realisation came about from an odd discussion, my Grandmother is from the Caribbean, and I was telling her all the islands were once connected, before they were separated by a regional flood that is now the islands and regional Caribbean sea, it was then I thought, "what a curious thing to know, I know that, I have other such knowledge", but what am I really doing with it? Like maybe I could be doing something with it, but not quite sure what yet.

Depends on what you know. Everyone "knows" things. It ia how you apply it that matters
