It's a wise little saying that has been floating around the internet for many years. As far as I know, no one has ever sited the original author of this wise little saying. Just google the saying and you'll see what I mean.

Yes, I too beleive that we are just passing though.

I never could understand the limited thinking that we continue on after death but didn't exist before we were born.

I've always felt that our spiritual nature is either truth or not. If it is, then why would it be single-ended?

I guess that's one way to look at Pierre Teilhard de Chardin statement. However, I don't believe that his statement is specific to any one Diety, but rather just acknowledges that we are spiritual beings.
