Do you ever get messages from men or woman... did you look at them and read there profile and think to yourself..wtf..
On what planet do you think we will be a match..!!. they send you emails trying to get your attention.. does this type of thing cause you to reevaluate where you place yourself on the dating scale..
Maybe you think you're a 7 but really you're only A..4.... or are these people that try to reach out to you ,just a little bit delusional and misguided.
.Or do You think they're just throwing mud at the wall to see what sticks..
That's my theory..lol..anyway..
I can only imagine the bashing I'm going to take from this one.. right Crystal...lol.

I have always found the phrase "out of my league" passe, outdated, irritating, egocentric and adolescent. It reveals a lot about the people who use and believe in this phrase. It is based on judging a person, any person in a totally one-dimensional way, be it on a dating site or in a bar. U don't like the look, so don't respond. But don't stand all high and mighty proclaiming "how dare he or she even think of approaching me?" Cuz one day you might get transported to the "Planet of the Apes"(speaking metaphorically) to learn humility and non-judgement.

The question is why are here ?
What's your purpose?

This kind of app can give hope to other people Sir specially to those loveless & heart broken. You don't have to answer all those mails if you don't want to cause at the end the decision still depends on you. If two people destined to fall with this kind of app then let them, be happy and live a life.

such dreams the young have... but experience is always the best teacher, as most of the guys who have been on mingle for a while know.. when a 23 year old knockout starts sending someone like me an email, it is 99.9% chance she is nothing but a scammer...

Get ready for the bashing...laugh

First off I don't like the phrase out of league. Sounds egotistical
definition:
Characteristic of those having an inflated idea of there own
importance.

Why am I not surprised this topic is coming from an attractive
male?!........

When you read my profile, I say I'm an Ex truck driver & Farmer
that lives in the sticks.

But if you email me and get to know me on a personal level you will
find out that I have a great sense of humor and a TRIPLE THREAT!!

Not only am I a truck driver, I am a classically trained chef, a
licensed cosmetologist, & educated. My profile is basic. Not to
mention not to hard on the eyes.

Everyone needs love, if you are judgemental, superficial: (Only concerned with what's apparent) & looking for BARBIE....

You are shallow insecure petty & will be single over & over
again & again.

You have to be happy and confident with yourself and project
that on your outlook in life.

Otherwise you may be Handsome on the outside but ugly on the
inside. Beauty fades ugly is forever.mad

Every person has qualities that while some may not find attractive or to their liking, others would and do.

The funny thing is, people who see themselves as high on that so called scale, at a certain point in their life, fall down that scale.

So, best to stay off the scale.. all together.. and don't prejudge.

I always interpreted out of my league to be a way to say incompatible, while still complimenting the other,,,

Ok.. first when I made the topic I wasn't speaking about myself in particular.... it's just a topic no more no less.... it's the same thing that happens when you make a profile and you stayed clear as a bell to anybody reading it will not date anyone older than me... or you must have a car a career and your own residence...

But sure enough what happens older women message me or women that don't have a vehicle or a career or their own resident..

It's like what's the point of putting stuff down on your profile if nobody reads it or comprehends..it...

It fits in with the discussion of the topic... it has nothing to do with being a Shallow Hal... it's all about preference really....

Another excellent topic No1, you are an excellent baiter. My opinion remains.

In this New Age world, we are constantly reminded to reach for the stars, to go for it, to not give up on a dream. Of course these are broad visions. But you got to hand it to a (non-scammer) man or woman with the determination and resilience to take the risk in this perilous world of online dating and chats, no matter what they look like, or what their age is.

I applaud them all, even the attention deficit ones!

And thank you, for giving me a chance to share my opinion....

So true, but damn it's nice to have the thought of, "Oh I could only wish"! drinker

Least "most" of you, have a league. There's some of us that don't qualify or quantify of having a league.
