oh sorry, you wrote, "one was never aired" so the other 2 were aired..

yea, 2 were aired... all it said why the 1 wasn't was for "industry disputes"... whatever that means...

"The Pirate Planet" (the second serial in the "Key to Time" arc, in season 16)
"City of Death" (with producer Graham Williams, from an original storyline by writer David Fisher. It was transmitted under the pseudonym "David Agnew")
"Shada" (only partially filmed; not televised due to industry disputes)

he was also in 2 episodes of MP flying circus...

Douglas Adams in his first Monty Python appearance, in full surgeon's garb

i did not know that he was acting too ! it's been long time since i have searched things about the book and himself, but to bee honest, i must have missed this detail. very interesting..

have you watched that "Monty Python's Flying Circus"?

no, it's all listed on his wiki page... i didn't know till i read it then..

on IMDB, the ratings go down in time. but this one, although it is from (1969–1974)s, still the rating is 8,9/ 10 - even better than today's most popular series. i would like to see a few episodes at least, but while there are 100s of movies awaiting to be watched, probably i will forget about it :)

I've watched the old Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Can't remember all the details, just that the answer is 42 laugh
And the Babel fish of course. And the meaning of life, the universe and everything. To which the answer is ...

I loved and disliked the series at the same time. Don't think I saw the movie. Not interested. No offense, but most of the time the old BBC stuff is WAY better than newer American versions of it.
Same thing with the old BBC series "Survivors". Way way way better than the American movie. The latter was a lot of BS, a lot was missing that had been in the original series, which gives you a real good idea of what it would be like, even though the series is old.

i used to watch "red dwarf" a long time ago, always thought it was great British humor, along with Benny Hill and MPFC.. but back then, there was only 1 station that carried any English shows, and was PBS... no cable channels back then
