Topic: My Question For The Day

Technically the OP starts the new day considering she asked her question in the afternoon of yesterday. So it hasn't been 24 hours yet. I think I know why I quit sending messages.....I got tired of no reply. Exceptions to those in the forums. I do of course say more than "Hi Pretty" or "Hi". I try to find something in a woman's profile that gives a commonality and try to go on that. Unfortunately though, many do not have information to go on and make it quite hard to come up with a message that may perk her interest. LOL...I didn't actually take note of the time of day... I just happened to get a message at that time... lol ... And its good you say more then that when you send a message... It could just be something as simple as hey how are you doing today??? At least that gives us something to respond to....lol

I think that you must consider that initially you don't know if the other person can understand English or another language. Also must consider that in a public approach normally you also start with an "hi" . Of course saying "hello beauty " it's a ridiculous and cheap approaching

I believe its just an immitation of real life introduction when someone walks up to me anywhere in real life they usually only say hello initially,,,,

I think it's just an ice breaker, they say hi. you look, if you're interested you say hi and off you go with a chat! I often have messages from ladies just saying "hi there "

Even worse , getting a message that only says "Hey". Yes women send the same kinds too Hi How can one resist such an imaginative creative, and engaging way to introduce oneself? If a person were to walk up and simply say Hi I would think them socially inept as a one word introduction is not courteous or actually serving as an introduction as more information would be needed such as my name is... I wanted to address, meet . converse, share .... you get the idea that a one word intro is silly and shows no maturity in social skills

I don't understand why men send a message and all it says is HELLO PRETTY..... Do they think that will make a woman melt or is because they can't think of anything else to say??? I have thought about sending a message back asking them but then I think that would be rude so I don't... lol It is almost as bad as getting one that just says HI.. Anyway thought I'd post here to see if I could maybe get an answer to my big question....lol It's irrelevant of us to just call women with names like Babe,Pretty,Love etc without even knowing the person but also women does that and it's a turn off for me to be called with such names without knowing me much.If maybe we've been chatting and calling each other for quiet sometime then it's understandable not in a first instance.I just become numbed maybe I'm old fashioned.
