Another movie that's breathtaking is Last of the Mohicans with Daniel Day Lewis... the music and scenery.....wow....

Katie, I want to know how it got off of your movie into others??? I enjoyed the movie Titanic...the special effects were great, the artistry was beautiful, and the SOB that played her father, you wanted him to go down with the ship. The music was beautiful too, and the scene when it took you to the ship under water after she died, was amazing. Enough said...now about Forrest Gump.

Ok it must be a female thing.I remember when this came out girls had Titanic parties where they would listen to the soundtrack and cry..I never got it myself.And Forrest Gump was pretty cool for it's time and the fact that he stayed innocent through out the movie was amazing.Tom Hanks said once"Forrest's world consists of 3 things.What God wants him to do,what his mama wants him to do and what Jenny wants him to do."

Titanic was fantastic on the big screen.Even though it was a three hour movie I did not go to the bathroom once.Riveting!!
Forest Gump always makes me cry.Awesome movies both.

I'll admit....both got me the first time. I'll have to say that time has been far kinder to GUMP than it has to TITANIC, when it comes to rewatching.

Maybe it's the soundtrack....GUMP has one of the best soundtracks EVER. I mean, there is no bad on either of the 2 disc set.

I hate to do this to you but I was left unphazed by Titanic but forrest Gump kinda pissed me off because that's like me, I give and FORGIVE many times but woman used to just wanna "be friends" I can only take so much.
Forrest was a great guy and even did the right thing by hitting the JERK at the panther rally but in the end all he had was heartache because he never got what he wanted and was stuck with a kid at the end and who really knows if it was his either, think about it, she knew he would be the only one who would be willing to take care of the kid and so she made a last ditch effort because she knew she was dieing soon.
I hated Jenny for being sooooo stupid to leave him all the time, ggrrrr makes me mad now thinking about it.
There are still women out there who do that to guys, they have someone who will love them forever and take care of them if need be and the women leave and fool around for their own gain then when they get in trouble they go running to the one guy who can help and when they are out of trouble BOOM, they're gone baby! Soooo Evil

Titanic is a wonderful movie....I have watched it soooo many times, and still I love it all over again every time
