So so sad he's gone. He was truly an original. Loved him during his Ziggy Stardust faze. Heroes is just about one of my most favorite songs ever- saw a clip of him singing it in front of the Berlin Wall after it had been torn down. ..amazing.

I grew up listening to David Bowie. I liked the song Heroes. I heard him on the radio a lot. In the 80's, I saw many of his videos from his album, "Let's Dance". Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ziggy and the stardust phase was my favorite, I really like the diamond dogs.The man was a genius , he just kept reinventing himself, what a talent. I miss the man.

It's still hard to believe he's gone. I remember when Ziggy Stardust came out & everyone saying who the hell is? Is he a man or a woman ? Really loved that phase of his career. |
