Mr. President,

For the first time, I can look forward to making America Great Again. No, these aren’t my words, they’re the words of YOU when you took office in 2017, implying America isn't Great. This sets the tone for the kind of President you’ll be, and the kind of legacy you will leave behind.

Your speech to your adoring fans screaming: Make America Great! It makes for a good sound bite and video clip, but it doesn’t paint the picture of the tens of millions of regular Americans that saw you for the opportunistic, narcissistic, egotist you are.

You stood in front of hundreds of Clinton/Obama haters and promised that she would be in jail after you took office and that you would get rid of Obamacare. Six weeks in, Clinton is never going to see a jail cell and you are considering keeping many parts of Obamacare because 'no one' (meaning no one educated or with knowledge of government, especially you) understood how complicated healthcare is. You claim to know more than the wartime Generals, but the Yemen raid under your command failed and ended with the deaths of nine children and a navy seal. Your anti muslim rhetoric is being used to recruit extremists. This is your legacy.

You loved the sound byte about the country's debt being too high, yet you will outspend the Obama's 8 years in just your first year of office between your trips and maintaining a second home for your wife to live in during your term. Amazing to think, that while you tweeted from one side of your neck about Obama's expenses totaling 100 mill over ten years, you already stacked up ten million in your first month. Hypocrisy and double standards. This is your legacy.

You say America will become great, but all you do is divide Americans by religion and nationality while playing cheerleader to Russia and other world dictators. You downplay your failures by finding scapegoats and make up 'alternate facts' , while making free press an enemy(culturally dismantling the First Amendment).


You legitimize misogyny and sexism and bigotry, and give american EXTREMISTS the ability to poison the minds of our suburban youth, then minimalize the mother of a soldier who died for our rights because of her religion and have the audacity to claim ignorance for the heightened bigotry and division in the country. This is your legacy.

You said 'some' Mexicans are decent, while you tweeted about women's looks, naked photos, sex videos, and even bragged about using your position for unsolicited groping of women and proudly gleamed over the probability of dating your own daughter. You try to pass yourself off as a Christian, while speaking and acting like a heathen. This is your legacy.

You spoke about America needing change, but don’t have a clue about the experience or needs of anyone not born wealthy and privileged. Making another country pay for a structure WE chose to build is exactly the kind of dictatorial behavior you so often seem to admire. You create new enemies and conspiracy theories anytime you fail or are challenged. Giving the wealthy more privileges and perks and breaks, while making the same tired claim of the 'trickle down' good its going to do the common man. This is your legacy.

Before you were elected, you made the case that the first completely inexperienced (in civil service) but wealthy President would be good for this country. Two months in, its looking like (as with any job), experience in and knowledge of a job is important after all. Half of your term will most likely be spent with others teaching you your job duties and responsibilities. Make America Great, like you’ve accomplished something other than making your pockets greater and avoiding contributing to the country that makes it possible, even in taxes. This is your legacy.

What may come as a surprise to you and the rest of the now far-right pundits that permeate the internet, the color of your skin always mattered to America, just as much as the size of your wallet. It was the policies that highly favored white males like yourself, the xenophobia that you are obviously restoring to this nation, and it is the wish to return to these past cultural ideals which gave you your Presidency.

Your Presidency will be a step back for America.

You will be the President that will be remembered by those too young to know any better, not as a champion and protector of our rights and Constitution, but as a celebrity.

Everything you do to this country over your eights years will be remembered in the history books, and your legacy, as much as it hurts right now, will be an experiment gone wrong.
