john, i talked to him last nite about jake (my parents dog) dying soon. he had me in tears. he wants santa to bring him presents so nick can put them on jake's grave. and he wants a snoopy ornament to remind him of jake when he is gone.
 my mom says jake may not last this week. my dad and brother dug his grave already.

So far he ony has had one episode.. and we caught it quick, so it didnt take long to clear it up. Knock on wood, that will be the only one this season! |

My heartaches for you and your sweet son. the loss of a pet will help him learn to deal with loss of loved ones, as hard as that may sound. I had to go through it with my 2 boys. We had a dog for 16 years, my kids grew up with him. He passed when they were 10 and 11. Everyone was heart broken.

thanks candio. jake is 14. my son is 10. my brother is a vet and is going to put him down when it is time, but we aren't telling the kids that b/c they wont understand and may be mad at him.
