do u believe in FOREVER?

the only thing that is forever consistent is change

yes as people are now, on the average, married three times so they are able to have forever three times .. Its not really smart to want guarantees for life as too many times circumstances and people change making forever untenable. A more helpful perspective would be to evaluate on the basis of the quality of a relationship for as long as both partners are happy with each other the relationship prospers as it diminishes the relationship will change and likely end. Living without illusion is difficult but is the beginning of wisdom...

As long as people keep working on themselves, don't get into relationships just to fill a void, learn how to communicate properly in a relationship etc. etc., then yes.
Unfortunately 9 out of 10 (probably even more actually) don't do any of these, and then complain they cannot find love or a good partner... Being happy starts with yourself, not another. And the only relationship you really will have forever is with yourself. So it's vitally important to get that one right before you endeavour to relate with a love partner. If you want to be happy that is. The beauty of it is that you can also learn that by getting in relationships that don't work out. If you have an open mind and learn from past mistakes that is. The shorter route would be to work on yourself first though... |

do u believe in FOREVER? I DO....BOTH SETS OF MY GRANDPARENTS HAD IT....IT WAS A TIME WHEN A PERSON JUST COULD NOT WALK AWAY, THEY HAD TO WORK THROUGH THE ISSUES THAT CAME UP....NOW TODAY PEOPLE WALK AWAY FOR ALMOST ANY REASON....THE ILLUSION IS WE REALLY DO NOT NEED ANYONE AND WE DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE ANY POO FROM ANYONE...... I LOVE MY PUPPY, HE CAN BE A ''PAIN IN THE ACE'' AT TIMES...IF I WANT A PUPPY AND THE JOY THAT COMES FROM HAVING HIM, WELL THEY ALL COME WITH POO....AND SO DO PEOPLE, NOT A PERSON ON THIS PLANET IS POO FREE.....I SAW MY PARENTS GET TO THE POINT WHERE THEY NEW NOTHING WOULD EVER TEAR THEM APART AND BOTH HAD A LOT OF POO......I GUESS THATS WHERE I GOT MY POO.... |

The trick is, that "true love being forever" isn't as simple as it sounds.
I've been listening to or reading all manner of grand pronouncements, cynical jabs, and pseudo-scientific blather about "true love" and how it can and can't be "crafted" since I was a kid. I've concluded that overall, as soon as someone makes any general, cover-all-the-bases statement about love, it means they've totally lost sight of it altogether. And if someone tells you there is some set of procedures you can follow, like a cookbook recipe or an exercise program, to make love "work," it means they don't actually have a clue what love actually is at all. The main thing to understand: love is not some external magical force that causes anything to be true about someone. It's instead a complicated collection of physical, psychological, and transactional experiences, that are dependent on each person's own perceptions and sensibilities...and more than anything else, it is WITHIN EACH INDIVIDUAL. |
