There's a point-of-view aspect to this kind of question. Depends on how you think of "threat," for example, as opposed to "problem."

Example, global climate change is no longer a THREAT, it's here, and it's a big problem.

Greatest THREAT, as in potential future something, to the planet, is asteroid collision.


To the country? Lots of threats and problems right now. Trump running things is a THREAT right now. If he's elected, it will be a huge PROBLEM.

But a much bigger threat, is the thought process, or lack of it, behind choosing leaders and courses of action right now. All decisions made based on who or what we FEAR, rather than what we WANT, are more likely to result in the wrong actions being taken.

Not much in hte way of imminent threats to my local area, other than the problems that national bad decisions will lead to.

Biggest threat to my life, is again, defective thinking in the national leadership. Any more Modern Republican style Supply Side economics, and the entire country will collapse, and we'll all lose our "lifestyles."

Threat to the planet... In about 4.5 Billion years our star, the Sun, will nova and engulf this planet inside itself. At that time our planet will burn, solidify as a ember and be absorbed into the atomic resources of the star.
As for presently. There are no threats to this planet. It has survived a collision with another planet already.

I am figuring you mean the social structure, not the land mass. My country is under threat right now by its own people. Socially we have evolved into narcissistic sheeple lead by the media and elite in the quest for the almighty dollar. Personal values are being tested and twisted to the breaking point. The strain is destroying us from the inside, at the personal level.

What do you think is the biggest threat to your region/ area/ neighborhood ?

Misdirection via media and neglect. Bigotry and hatred are rampant. There is no real sense of community anymore. People have become sheeple to their quest for immediate satisfaction. They are being told what to eat, what to see, what to think but don't even realize they are being manipulated to give the few power over them. Values are now based on delusion and greed. This is a general observation, there are still a few that have values and are in control of themselves but they are now the minority and shrinking fast.

What do you think is the biggest threat to your life / lifestyle ?

To my life? The ravages of age on a body that was not maintained properly in the past. One that was pushed beyond the safe zone in a quest to provide for loved ones in a world where the money and power rule over senses. One that was deluded into thinking that pushing the limit for someone else would be justified.

To my lifestyle? There is no threat to my lifestyle. I rebuilt myself in a quest to remove my delusions and it is a continuing effort. I am thinking clearer than ever before. I choose my lifestyle based on reality. I now recognize and disable the buttons that I used to let people and situations control me. I am just me, good and bad but I am content with that. Life owes me nothing and I owe nothing in return, life is just life.
