Since Quantum Physics shows a high probability that there are an infinite number of universes/dimensions to the universe beyond what we can perceive as humans... it's not a matter of belief, it's mathematically significantly more likely than a single, three dimensional universe that expands infinitely... tho Quantum Phy also says that exists as well. But fr, at this point, Quantum is sci theory, meaning it's considered near proven until it can be mathematically or by repeat observations disproved.

But considering this is a simulation, I don't see the practicality to have written code for more than a single universe per running sim. The computing power for that alone is inconceivable to us. Shiz, the power to run said system would require many times the amount of energy humans consume just to run; like a planetary sized zero point system or the installation of two or more Dyson Sphere type arrays in a system with a star like our sun. We're talking a civilization millions of years beyond us in tech and experience.... A lvl 2 or higher civ.... humans are at best a lvl 0.65.... and that's being extremely generous and assuming we start utilizing Zero Point on a small scale within the next generation or so, or that Great Filter of Fermi's Paradox is gonna be a rude wake up in the very near future... again, not that it matters, at all... the Sim with just be patched as needed or worst case, rebooted.
