JonBenét Ramsey Murder Documentary Sheds New Light On Brutal Slaying
http://radaronline.com/videos/jonbenet-ramsey-murder-documentary-brutal-slaying/ JonBenét: An American Murder Mystery airs September 12 at 10:00pm EST on Investigation Discovery. ------------------------------------------------ The December 25, 1996 murder of six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey has remained unsolved for years, but could a new Investigation Discovery documentary finally provide answers two decades after her gruesome death? In a three-night event, which begins September 12, JonBenét: An American Murder Mystery examines the events leading up to the child’s slaying, and sheds new light on evidence that may lead to a resolution in this heart-wrenching case. The docuseries provides in-depth analysis of conflicting theories of the case. While authorities initially focused their suspicions on the family, the Ramseys always insisted that an intruder must have gained entry to their home, killing their daughter, hitting her with a heavy object before strangling her with a cord. The murderer even fed the young girl pineapple shortly before she died, leaving remnants in her stomach which would provide one of the most puzzling of all pieces of evidence. Twenty years after JonBenét’s death, the police investigation has picked up steam, but where will it lead? Find out when JonBenét: An American Murder Mystery airs September 12 at 10:00pm EST on Investigation Discovery. |

Murder of JonBenét Ramsey - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_JonBen%C3%A9t_Ramsey/ JonBenét Patricia Ramsey (/ˌdʒɒnbəˈneɪ pəˈtrɪʃə ˈræmzi/; August 6, 1990 – December 25, 1996) was a six-year-old American child beauty queen who was murdered in her home in Boulder, Colorado, in 1996. Her father, John Ramsey, found her body in the basement of the family home about eight hours after she was reported missing. She had been struck on the head and strangled. The case remains unsolved, even after several grand jury hearings, and continues to generate public and media interest. Boulder law enforcement agencies initially suspected JonBenét's parents, and her nine year old brother,[1] Burke. However, in 2008, DNA taken from the victim's clothes completely cleared her family.[2] In February 2009, the Boulder Police Department took the case back from the district attorney and reopened the investigation.[3] Media coverage of the case has often focused on JonBenét's participation in child beauty pageants, her parents' wealth, and the unusual evidence found in the case. Media reports have also questioned the police's handling of the case. Ramsey family members and their friends have filed defamation suits against several media organizations. |

I'm sure it was a family member... That was my first thought. Most homocides, or any violent crime, are commited by a relative or someone the victim knows. But in this case, there is no motive, with the immediate family, DNA, ruled them out. It is the fact, that someone FEED her, prior to killing her, that bothers me... & makes me suspect... a woman, as the killer. And of course... there was no cord. (As you probably remember.... geez, that was SICK ). Which makes me think it was a man. So I am thinking... A COUPLE. Maybe parents of another beauty queen. |

A FWIW...I've seen the previews for this show and they hint at new DNA found on a window that points to a stranger...
Anyways....beauty pageants for little girls are weird and trashy. |

I always thought the family did it. Then a couple years ago they released a sealed grand jury indictment from 1999 that the District Attorney refused to sign.
The only doubt I have is that former FBI Supervisory Special Agent and Unit Chief John E. Douglas, basically the founder of the BSU of the FBI (who's profiles are very rarely if ever wrong) came to the defense of the Ramsey's and said the evidence points to someone other then the parents. I always thought the younger brother honestly. Sibling rivalry can be tough, especially if he felt his sister got all the attention. Maybe the parents trying to cover up what he did...... That would make sense, Douglas couldn't get a good profile on the kid because all kids profile as sociopaths. |

How the victim was tied up, in that archaic fashion? Few adults would know how to do that. And the family, DNA, has been ruled out. |

That DNA could have come from anything. I am saying the 9 year old did it, then the parents "fixed it" and made it look more sophisticated then it really was. Besides I also remember that she was also covered with her "Special" white blanket, which is a sign of remorse and a killer like this can not feel remorse and that's a proven documented fact. That to me points to a clean up job by the parents right there. h and the father and two family friends finding the body when there's a house full of cops...... C'mon |

Here's a copy of the ransom note, to me it screams a fake.
Mr. Ramsey, Listen carefully! We are a group of individuals that represent a small foreign faction. We do respect your bussiness [sic] but not the country that it serves. At this time we have your daughter in our posession [sic]. She is safe and unharmed and if you want her to see 1997, you must follow our instructions to the letter. You will withdraw $118,000.00 from your account. $100,000 will be in $100 bills and the remaining $18,000 in $20 bills. Make sure that you bring an adequate size attache to the bank. When you get home you will put the money in a brown paper bag. I will call you between 8 and 10 am tomorrow to instruct you on delivery. The delivery will be exhausting so I advise you to be rested. If we monitor you getting the money early, we might call you early to arrange an earlier delivery of the money and hence a [sic] earlier delivery pick-up of your daughter. Any deviation of my instructions will result in the immediate execution of your daughter. You will also be denied her remains for proper burial. The two gentlemen watching over your daughter do not particularly like you so I advise you not to provoke them. Speaking to anyone about your situation, such as Police, F.B.I., etc., will result in your daughter being beheaded. If we catch you talking to a stray dog, she dies. If you alert bank authorities, she dies. If the money is in any way marked or tampered with, she dies. You will be scanned for electronic devices and if any are found, she dies. You can try to deceive us but be warned that we are familiar with law enforcement countermeasures and tactics. You stand a 99% chance of killing your daughter if you try to out smart [sic] us. Follow our instructions and you stand a 100% chance of getting her back. You and your family are under constant scrutiny as well as the authorities. Don't try to grow a brain John. You are not the only fat cat around so don't think that killing will be difficult. Don't underestimate us John. Use that good southern common sense of yours. It is up to you now John! Victory! Garrote - Assination Weapon http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garrote/ They had enough to indict the parents, that says a lot right there. Grand Juries usually rule opposite in these types of cases. Really? An adult doesn't know how to tie a knot or duct tape a mouth? The DNA could have been there for a long time and they didn't test the brother from what I read. Trust me, the parents were involved somehow. The crime scene contradicts itself. |
|
|
|
Besides, the main reason I don't trust the DNA evidence is it would get tossed out of court. The crime scene was so contaminated. The first responders royally screwed up by not securing the crime scene and by the time is was eventually sealed there were dozens of family and friends in and out of the house and on and off the property. Not to mention having family and friends search the house for the little girl........

Did you read any of the links?
Did you just decide that they must be guity because of the police's first reaction? ( that she was kidnapped). And not read or consider any other scenarios. Or read about the knots? And the police contaminated the crime scene. The police missed that tiny room, where the body was. Which was virtually hidden. Who ever was there, went in & out that window, probably, a few times (before that night) There was, unknown DNA, in that room, that rules out family & friends. Including on the window sill. |

S.B.T.C Of course it is fake. It buys the assasin time. Scares the family. Makes the family & John feel it is his fault, somehow. And throws the police off, into wasting time on a kidnapping. And the killer (s), can laugh all the home. The assasin, use everything he could, that belonged to the family. He/ they, had to be there, MORE than that night, to familiarize himself/ herself/ their selves , not just with the layout. IMO |

I used to think it was the parents no question asked, when then when I saw that Douglas was brought in and his profile pointed away from the parents. Then about 80% of me now thinks the parents are guilty. |

I never thought it was her family. I always felt for the family. I always thought the Colorado police screwed the investigation up.
