Unfortunately, am not financially capable to cover my own travel 100%. Otherwise, that's the best idea in this case. However, the least the guy can do is pay the bills since the other damage is priceless.

Safety is a REAL concern for women. Many countries can be dangerous for the female traveler.

As long as I love someone, I would patiently wait. But in this case , I think you can't blame anyone of them because they have their own valid reasons. The man was definitely serious with the girl and he's willing to prove his intentions and would do everything for the girl , unfortunately he didn't plan it well . As for the girl , she thought it was a joke and she was having a surgery and out of reach. They both didn't plan it together that's the problem. Things would have worked well if they both talked about it first before the meeting , preparing and planning is very important especially when you are going to travel in a strange place. If plan A didn't work, go to plan B , you are already there and have wasted time to travel so why not make the most of it and enjoy the trip while waiting? If your date shows up good and if not, it's okay, explore the place and take care of yourself . Knowing that the girl didn't show up would mean something, whatever the real reason, the truth will come out at the end. And if she shows up later and tries to explain what happened, listen to reasons and let your heart decide. True love can wait no matter what or how long it takes.
