I don't think so.
Love doesn't always translate to Marriage ( thank God for that ) and doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Happiness. In fact, I contend that Happiness has very little to do with Love or Marriage. Happiness is a temporary state of mind, a bio-chemical reaction to an outside stimuli that is powerless to create the same over a long period of time. No one is 'forever happy'. I aim for Contentment. A much more permanent state of consciousness that needs no outside stimuli to manifest but a deep understanding of what the heart yearns for on a daily basis: Inner Peace. |

When love comes it requires marriage, that is coupling,, as it is impossibility to live without your beloved one. As to happiness, I share Mr Rooster's speculations.

Only in a romanticized, metaphorical sort of way.
I am myself hoping to have the two without the third, someday. I like the commitment aspect of marriage, but I have become averse to the Government intrusion aspect of it. |

I agree with Frank Sinatra's song Love and marriage, love and marriage Go together like a horse and carriage This I tell you brother You can't have one without the other Love and marriage, love and marriage It's an institute you can't disparage Ask the local gentry And they will say it's elementary Try, try, try to separate them It's an illusion Try, try, try, and you will only come To this conclusion Love and marriage, love and marriage Go together like a horse and carriage Dad was told by mother You can't have one, you can't have none You can't have one without the other Try, try, try to separate them It's an illusion Try, try, try, and you will only come To this conclusion Love and marriage, love and marriage Go together like a horse and carriage Dad was told by mother You can't have one (you can't have none) You can't have one without the other Songwriters JAMES VAN HEUSEN, SAMMY CAHN |
