is it possible to fall inlove using dating sites?
The example of people falling in love with political candidates through the ballot box indicates there wouldn't be a problem with it happening using a dating site.

Sure, that sort of thing is possible. But it's still more of a fantasy relationship than a real one. If that's enough for them, that's great. I would never be able to be satisfied and fulfilled without touch, smell, seeing, tasting, having him around me etc. I find it hard to not see, feel, smell, touch, taste him for 4 weeks  If I'd never see him, I'd rather find myself someone else. I'm too tactile, cuddly and sexual, sensual. I need the real deal.
The thought of being exclusive and never really having intimacy... horrible! To me that's more like an online game you play. Like Second Love, or was it Second Life? But to each their own. If that's enough for people and makes them happy, who am I to judge. You and me both!! 
They do Second Life, and various other games - but yeah - nothing real. They skype, so they see each other - but they can never touch, taste, feel, smell... It would be torture for me too! |

Can you find love online?
I do not see why not. There is always a possibility. But what are the actual odds? I lowered my expectations and left my profile to work on improving the odds while I am not even online. It doesn't hurt. Does it? I used to be disappointed by number of one liners, pretenders,scammers and other colorful characters crawling the virtual space (not just dating sites), but after a while I simply stopped caring. They are here to stay. It is my job not to allow them to waste my time. I learned a thing or two about others, as well as myself in a process. I focused on my life on my own. If I find a soulmate, that will be a bonus. If not, I lost nothing but a bit of time. However, those who tried to play games and failed lost their time too. So we are even. 0:0 :-) Still learning and growing... And reading taught of an interesting people on M2 forums. It is all good. :-) |

What do u think? No!!!! What can and does happen is that spark that turns into a flame... still have to take it personal. Lust, friendship, companionship, and yes love can develop yet not the same. IMO... the couple has to take it to real in person to person to have that deep "in love" real experience. To take the wonderful with the not so wonderful aspects each person has. |
