Do put thought into who you contact, why you contacted them, and what you say. Don't expect to be any more successful online than you'd be offline. |

Never give out your personal email or phone number until you get to know someone a little first. I've seen a lot of threads pop up for scammers and speaking from experience if the picture looks like it's from a porn site or a super model it was probably stolen from one. When in doubt run the pic on a image search like google or tineye.
Other then that have fun and stay active in the forums, that's where the real people hang out. |

Yeah, learnt that reading the book "internet for dummies 101" :)
Very much appreciate your words of advice though, especially the stay active on the forums. Coz your so right! lol Thanks @ dbhblue ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now here's a question for someone or everyone... Should I be upgrading or not? tbh... seems like a waste of money to me... but I got a "match" and it wants me to upgrade... What is the benefits of upgrading vs non upgrading? Can't people just message me? instead of using the whole "heart" icon? So should I? |

Now here's a question for someone or everyone... Should I be upgrading or not? tbh... seems like a waste of money to me... but I got a "match" and it wants me to upgrade... What is the benefits of upgrading vs non upgrading? Can't people just message me? instead of using the whole "heart" icon? So should I? Premium: http://mingle2.com/welcome/faq_premium I do not think I have met anyone that buys the premium package.. you can do most all without it. If you click 'Yes' or 'Maybe' to someone who clicks the same for you, you see them as a Match. The upgrade allows you to jump the gun and see them BEFORE you decide how to click on them. (You see them as 'Who clicked YES on me.') No messaging limits associated with no upgrade, other than those in place for scammers/spammers. With the upgrade your mail is kept indefinitely, without it, it hangs around for 30 days, then is deleted. Anyone can message you who gets past the filters you may or may not have set. http://mingle2.com/inbox/filters Read the Premium link above for all the benefits of the upgrade, then decide :-) |
