rain drops splash rooftops
i see the beat and my heart stops
just relaxin lookin out the window
watching rain fall i got nowere to go
i catch a glimpse from the corner of my eye
the greys and green lightning flashes in the sky
the rain keeps on coming down
i pick up my guitar and look around
how do i feel do i even care
just raw emotion from a blank stare
the sill is splashed the window wide open
the wind hits my face i sit here just hopen
i strum the strings the calms my soul
the music rushes deep from the sound hole
cascades of sound and color and smell
it blasts out this hearts deep well
enjoying the view through my window panes
the sweet smell that only comes about when it rains

Nothing like playing to the rhythm of the rain.

I could feel the wind and rain and hea in the background if natues song
the gentle strumming of a guia...most beautiful Lion

Nothing greater than seeing what comes out when a writer reaches deep
into their soul.
