Has anyone on here actually had any luck in meeting someone in person, whether it be just sex, dating or a serious relationship? Yes and it has nothing to do with luck. If so, what are some of the best/worst encounters have you had from meeting someone on a dating site? Best encounter was a woman from Indiana, a sweet 38yo red head with the smile of an angel and light blue eyes. We fell in love for 2 years and moved in together. We would've still been together if her kidney wasn't on its way out and I had to leave her country. Worse encounter was a woman who welcomed me 8000 miles away only to complain and get mad about the first night as I had jet-lag, needed to sleep and, surprise, happened to snore. Geewiz, after an 11-hour flight you'd think she might've had the wits to let me rest

The first day I was on here a guy wanted to have a relationship with me quickly and wanted to go out and I have not any thing from human all ... He had not been back on this sight ... Then I started to talk with others and one of them yesterday wanted to fast a relationship... Don't any body know that it takes time to get to know the person.... Before the relationship gets better ..... It's takes days months and years to get to know the person..... I totally agree with you. So many men want to rush things that it makes me wonder if they are actually looking for a real relationship or just a hook-up.

nope,just spoken to two genuine gentlemen to whom they caught the 'elusive' me so far...
for the record,I entertain one at a time. the latter was a great deal then,character wise. it didn't workout unfortunately...simply blame it to the time and the distance,huh!...lol

I haven't met someone in person yet, but I have met a wonderful man here and we chatted for 6 months. I thought we already have a serious relationship when all of a sudden after a month of our relationship he asked for a space for a reason that I didn't quite understand. Well I don't go into a relationship with a guy who doesn't know what he wants and seemed confused about his feelings, if you are not sure of your feelings, there must be a reason, could it be you have other women lined up after me......? Oh well I will give you your freedom to choose:) I don't go for half baked:) it was good while it lasted but I could never hold on to the words of a man who's not even sure of his feelings. I will not wait and hang on to empty words. Words are just words, this is online. If you really love someone then before you commit know your feelings first coz you might hurt someone if you are just playing a game. God knows ..... it was a good experience, I have learned a lot about men and about myself too. No hatred, no anger, no regrets , I cherished those happy moments we had , talking for hours , making a good connection but it doesn't guarantee forever though I did wish for true love, I thought it was   but what happened didn't ruin my dreams of finding love again. I believe and still hope that one day love will find me
