US Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Bill Clinton meet privately in Phoenix before Benghazi report
PHOENIX - Amid an ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of email and hours before the public release of the Benghazi report, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with former President Bill Clinton. The private meeting took place on the west side of Sky Harbor International Airport on board a parked private plane. Former President Clinton was visiting the Phoenix area and arrived to Sky Harbor Monday evening to depart. Sources tell ABC15 Clinton was notified Lynch would be arriving at the airport soon and waited for her arrival. Lynch was arriving in Phoenix for a planned visit as part of her national tour to promote community policing. ABC15 asked Lynch about the meeting during her news conference at the Phoenix Police Department. "I did see President Clinton at the Phoenix airport as he was leaving and spoke to myself and my husband on the plane," said Lynch. The private meeting comes as Lynch's office is in charge of the ongoing investigation and potential charges involving Clinton's email server. The private meeting also occurred hours before the Benghazi report was released publicly involving Hillary Clinton and President Obama's administration. Lynch said the private meeting on the tarmac did not involve these topics. "Our conversation was a great deal about grandchildren, it was primarily social about our travels and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix," said Lynch Tuesday afternoon while speaking at the Phoenix Police Department. Sources say the private meeting at the airport lasted around 30 minutes. "There was no discussion on any matter pending before the Department or any matter pending with any other body, there was no discussion of Benghazi, no discussion of State Department emails, by way of example I would say it was current news of the day, the Brexit decision and what it would mean," she said. |

Perhaps if she is now forced to recuse herself and appoint a special prosecutor Hitler may actually pay for her criminal deeds..... doubtful tho as long as Oblowme is POTUS. He was so hoping his flunkies would protect Clinton so he wouldn't have to pardon her himself and add that to his crimes against America, its laws, and its people..... But what does he care about a legacy in a country he loathes? We're still obligated to pay and protect him the rest of his life regardless! It's no wonder he endorses Hitlery. Just one more slap in the face of America! |

Lynch supposed to make use kind of announcnent shortly.
This story should have shocked the country....a spouse of a presidential candidate under FBI investigation meets with the US AG....but it won't because it involves a Clinton and Dems.....ridiculous. |

It was completely innocent. It was Bill the ex-president not Bill, Hillary the liar's husband. That's completely different.

I'm surprised Lynch wasn't found dead from chocking on a olive or something

Lynch just said they don't discuss how they come to decisions at the DOJ.
Is there any wonder why? |

I wonder if he banged her.
That's what it seems like to me. A clandestine meeting far away from Washington in a private area of an airport where no one is outside or milling about because it's 110 degrees, on a private plane. A secret meeting with Hillary would make me believe there was something fishy going on. A secret meeting between Lynch and an attorney would make me believe there was something fishy going on. A secret meeting with "I did not have sexual relationships with that woman" Clinton, and, well, a woman, makes me think something else, with a different kind of fishy going on. "I wanna bang the chick with the power to send my wife to jail," seems more plausible for Bill. |

Hillary: Bill, why don't you meet up with this Lynch woman, bang her so she'll get off my back will ya? Bill: Ok my darling, you know I'd do anything for you |

Not to mention why would the "FBI ordered ‘no photos, no pictures, no cell phones’ during Clinton/Lynch meeting" which a reporter stated????? Who "ordered" the FBI at the airport to make such an "order"? Is the reporter lying, and if he is lying why hasn't his assertion been contested by the FBI? Personally if I was this reporter I would be in CYA mode to avoid the wrath of the DOJ, the FBI and Homeland Security. The Feds showed by going after James Rosen that they won't hesitate to attempt stopping people in the media who aren't to their liking or the liking of current administration. |

Bad news for Hitlery! Lynch now says she'll concede to the wishes of the prosecutors (FBI) should an indictment be brought. Guess Lynch cares about her own ambitions more than she does about those of an exiting POTUS or Clinton Pirro: If Clinton is indicted, her first defense witness is Obama http://www.yahoo.com/finance/video/pirro-clinton-indicted-her-first-124856206.html |

.....The meeting comes in the midst of a controversy involving another meeting — this one a secret conclave between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton. The pair met on Lynch’s airplane on the tarmac of Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport on Monday. Lynch claimed that Clinton initiated the meeting and that the pair talked for around a half hour. She has claimed that they discussed Clinton’s grandchildren, their travels, and former Attorney General Janet Reno, who served in Clinton’s administration. She disclosed the meeting only after reporters asked her about it on Wednesday. On Friday, Lynch expressed regret about meeting with Clinton but declined calls to recuse herself from the investigation. She said she will accept recommendations handed down by FBI officials and Justice Department attorneys. “I certainly wouldn’t do it again because I think it has cast a shadow over how this case will be perceived,” Lynch said at an Aspen Ideas Festival event. “Believe me, I completely get that question. I think it’s the question of the day,” she added. She said she will be briefed on the investigation by FBI and Justice Department officials and that “I fully expect to accept their recommendations.” Lynch was asked on Friday why she did not rebuff Clinton’s request to meet with her on her plane. She dodged the question. FBI director James Comey is said to be closely watching the investigation. He has maintained that the probe will be free from political influence. But many observers have said this week that Lynch’s meeting with Bill Clinton has tainted the integrity of the investigation. On Thursday, Judicial Watch, the government watchdog group, asked the Justice Department’s inspector general to open an ethics investigation into Lynch’s conduct. The group pointed out that, in addition to the probe into Hillary Clinton’s activities, the FBI is reportedly conducting a public corruption investigation involving the Clinton Foundation. The FBI did not respond to TheDC’s request for comment about Saturday’s planned meeting. The Clinton campaign also did not respond. |

Washington (CNN) — Hillary Clinton met with the FBI for three and a half hours Saturday as part of the investigation into her use of a private email server while leading the State Department, her campaign said. "Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was secretary," Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement. "She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion. Out of respect for the investigative process, she will not comment further on her interview." An aide said the interview occurred at FBI headquarters in Washington Saturday morning and lasted approximately three and a half hours. The FBI declined to comment on the interview. The meeting means the investigation into Clinton's use of a private email server for official business as secretary of state is coming to an end. The question now becomes how long it will take for the FBI to conclude its probe. Sources familiar with the investigation had previously told CNN the Justice Department's aim was to wrap up before the Republican and Democratic conventions later this month. The timing is crucial, because if Clinton were to be indicted before the convention, Democrats could perhaps nominate another candidate. |

TODAY WAS THE BIG DAY-THE FEDS INTEROGATED[The Clinton Campaign Spokes-person called it an "Interview"] HILLARY AT FBI HEADQUARTERS TODAY FOR 3.5 HOURS
* Trump calls for charges against Clinton after FBI interview in email investigation http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/07/02/trump-say-convention-speaker-list-complete-tries-to-make-gains-on-clintons-tough-week.html * after FBI interview in email investigation Published July 02, 2016 FoxNews.com Confirmed: Clinton met with FBI about email investigation * Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump called for charges to be filed against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton Saturday after the former secretary of state met with the FBI regarding the agency’s investigation into her use of a private email server for official correspondence. "It is impossible for the FBI not to recommend criminal charges against Hillary Clinton," Trump tweeted Saturday afternoon. "What she did was wrong! What Bill did was stupid!" The Clinton campaign said the voluntary meeting lasted about three-and-a-half hours and took place at FBI headquarters in Washington. Clinton “is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion” campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement. He also said Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, would have no further comment about the interview. The campaign issued the statement Saturday shortly before 12:30 p.m. ET, practically minutes after Clinton returned to her Washington home, then departed again about 30 minutes later. “Hillary Clinton has just taken the unprecedented step of becoming the first major party presidential candidate to be interviewed by the FBI as part of a criminal investigation surrounding her reckless conduct,” said Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus. "We must ask ourselves if this is the kind of leadership we want in the White House.” 2016 Election Headquarters The latest headlines on the 2016 elections from the biggest name in politics. See Latest Coverage → There was no immediate comment from the FBI or Justice Department Saturday. Clinton’s use of a private server and email address -- and whether classified information was mishandled as a result of that setup -- has cast a shadow over her campaign from the start. The FBI investigation is purportedly coming to a close, and the Clinton interview is considered among the final steps in the case. Trump has seized on the email issue and repeatedly said the probe undermines Clinton's fitness for office. Trump has called his opponent "Crooked Hillary" and said she cannot be trusted in the White House. The former first lady and New York senator has argued that she is more trustworthy than Trump on handling the issues that matter to most Americans: foreign policy, national security and running the economy. But the email investigation has lingered throughout her campaign, and Trump has asserted that Clinton will receive leniency from a Democratic administration. Earlier this week, the entire, ongoing email scandal grew when Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, initiated an impromptu meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on her airplane in Phoenix. "The American people need to have confidence that the Obama Justice Department is conducting a fair and impartial investigation, but when the attorney general meets secretly with Bill Clinton just days before Hillary’s interrogation is conducted discreetly over a holiday weekend, it raises serious concerns about specialtreatment,” Priebus also said. There was already speculation about whether an agency under the Obama administration could conduct an unbiased probe, which only intensified after Clinton met with Lynch, a President Obama appointee who decides whether to bring charges in the case. Lynch says she will accept whatever recommendations she receives from the agency's career prosecutors and lawyers. Clinton has said relying on a private server was a mistake but that other secretaries of state had also used a personal email address. The matter was referred for investigation last July by the inspectors general for the State Department and intelligence community following the discovery of emails that they said contained classified information. The State Department's inspector general, the agency's internal watchdog, said in a blistering audit in May that Clinton and her team ignored clear warnings from State Department officials that her email setup violated federal standards and could leave sensitive material vulnerable to hackers. Clinton declined to talk to the inspector general, but the audit reported that Clinton feared "the personal being accessible" if she used a government email account. Agents have already interviewed top Clinton aides including her former State Department chief of staff Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, a longtime aide who is currently the vice chairwoman of Clinton's campaign. The staffer who set up the server, Bryan Pagliano, was granted limited immunity from prosecution by the Justice Department last fall in exchange for his cooperation. The FBI as a matter of course seeks to interview individuals central to an investigation before concluding its work. The emails were routed through a server located in the basement of Clinton's New York home during her tenure as the nation's top diplomat from 2009 to 2013. Dozens of the emails sent or received by Clinton through her private server were later determined to contain classified material. Clinton has repeatedly said that none of the emails were marked classified at the time they were sent or received. As part of the probe, she has turned over the hard drive from her email server to the FBI. The Associated Press contributed to this report. |
