Topic: Matched but nobody has visited my profile

Well just joined and looking about, got a notification of a match ... But NOBODY has looked at my profile.. I guess this is all a scam ?

It's not about instant gratification lol. Just keep getting notifications of people liking me and there is no one listed in my viewed profile box ? It seem fishy

It seem fishy Dude, try the decaf and lay off the Monster drinks. You planning on being married by the time you sign off? Lol. Just take your time. Join the forums so people can get to know you.

But there is a thing where someone doesn't actually have to look at your profile. They can get the jist of your profile while looking through match possibilities, and my guess they clicked yes on you from the match page. Welcome to Mingle2 and good luck!

Actually if you are talking about the Mutual Matches and those are liking you. Those do not even have to look at your profile in order to see your pic and part of what you have in your profile. So that could be the reason for the likes and no visits to your profile. It does not show that someone actually looked at your profile till they go all the way to the profiles which most do not do if they are just clicking maybe or yes... Give it time enjoy the forums~~

Although it is a bit fishy for someone to consider you a match without looking at your profile. Looks aren't everything, believe me. =) Word of advice: focus on the people who view your profile first. I wouldn't put too much stock in the mutual matches just yet. Do an advanced search, where you can choose a variety of factors, and then see who turns up. Remember, it's free to message people here. So if someone really appeals to you, just break the ice.

On some sites the matches are done by the dating site software On Mingle -and many other dating sites- there's a feature that allows you to go through photos and you can click whether you like them 'yes' or 'no' or 'maybe'. No one has to visit your profile in order to do that. So they can click 'yes' and you still would have no profile clicks. How by the way do you know your profile hasn't been visited?

It just meant that someone was going through Mutual Matches and thought you as a possible match but had second thoughts. No big deal. You just joined. Give it sometime. .. How by the way do you know your profile hasn't been visited? Sorry for jumping in .. You can see it under the Account at the top of the page .. Recent Activity or .. Who Viewed Me. It also shows who's profile you've checked and when, and sent and received messages .. pretty handy actually.
