hi. i am Atheist and would date a Catholic guy as long as he accepts me and my belief system...vice versa.

I tried that,and if you have a system of belief that conflicts,it can cause problems in the long run..I guess if both people can accept a different set of belief standards,it might work,but I'm not so sure of that. If I ever find another partner,it is important to me that our world views are close. The most important thing is like the bard said

why would you want to date specifically a Catholic guy if you are an atheist ? I believe that partners religion shouldn't be a factor in the relationship at all .... but to each their own

I speculate she's not a real atheist, just a so called atheist who wants to live a Christian-Catholic life.

one possibility is that she is from a catholic family/upbringing/community herself and finds it easier to understand and mingle with people from a similar background.

I am an Atheist and I would date any religion so long as they don't preach to me or I will preach to them and call them stupid.

i believe that wouldn't work just like that,I could be wrong to.
Is not that I care if you have religion or not ,I don't just don't bring your preaching to me and everything will be fine and I would date women from any religion.
But any religion would date a atheist or any other kind of religion I guess not they would try to convert you ,when I say religious person is the person that goes to church every Sunday ,that follows it from close bla bla bla.
would a Jew date a Catholic, and not try to convert each other?
I could be wrong in the way I think.
I was Catholic and I was even baptized not by my choice but it changed right after I could choose whatever i wanted to do .
