Go for it, the worse you gonna get is a no.

IMO I like getting to the phone as quickly as possible if I sense there is any sort of connection, attraction, possibility of friendship or more. Email only goes so far. It is very easy to swoon over, feel seduced by, or very intellectually attracted to someone via email but then as soon as you talk to them, ..... OH NO! It all disappears.
Maybe it's different for people in their twenties but I'm all for talking on the phone as soon as possible b/c email really doesn't cut it as a form of communication. WAY too much gets lost in translation. |

Curious...right on target. Other then meeting in person, which is the ultimate test. Speaking on the phone is much better then emailing/Im'ing back and forth. People build some sort of fantacy thru writing. It always amazes me how ppl fall in love on these sites, without ever meeting in person.

what about rather than doing the phone exchange of #'s, get on IM and do that.... you can use mics and talk that way if comfortable enough...then maybe cams?
go at the pace you both feel comfortable at... only YOU TWO will know... Amen Fade on Love having no rules.... |

GIVE HER THE NUMBER...only one way to find out if you guys have something going. Gave mine to someone on here and been talking all week....ALOT....and having great conversations. Either way you made a friend or romantic partner at least you gave it a shot.....thats what I am doing....can't hurt to talk.

I think it totally depends on the context in which you had the initial contact and what kind of response you felt like you had from her. If the "talk" was online, it could be a little weird to give her your number right away because you don't want to come off as sleazy.
On the other hand, if you feel that the connection was mutual and she is interested, putting yourself out there isn't bad. A lot of women want to feel at least a little pursued. Giving her your number lets her know that you were impressed by her and it puts the power in her hands. She can decide what she wants to do, and you might be pleasantly surprised once you take that leap. For me a guy who is too tentative to take those first few steps loses my interest fast. |

Well, I don't know what to say. I asked her if she wanted my number to talk sometime and she said "i dropped my phone and it's broke". Although since then her away always says "cells good" but I don't know I asked about it and she never mentioned anything.

I think you should give her your mobile, life is too short for ifs whys or maybes, if she wants to call she will, good luck!!!

I dunno. She's probobly trying to get tp know you first.. Slow down and be yourself!
|
|
|

If she said she broke her phone...slow down you are moving way to fast. I will say this, when someone offers me their number right away~~it makes me worry!!
Just get to know her on here and in emails for a bit. Just take a step back!! Good luck |

Give her the # then the ball's in her court. If you don't, this could turn out to be one of those coulda, shoulda, woulda moments.

Too soon. Background check. Convicted felon. Long record. Violent stalker.
|
|
|
|
She is a convicted felon of 20 murders, a psychopathic rapist, and a stalker extraordinaire. Damn I bet on the wrong horse.

I went on a first date with a woman. Treated her well. Dinner. No games or sex. Nice date. One date. She was a crazy psycho who then stalked me and tried to burn my house down. Restraining order just expired. It happened to me. It could happen to you.
