Moving to a new place to live and work (city or country) is a hard decision;specially when a whole family is involved.

What aspects would you consider for this " important move"?

As many as I could?

Question is kind of vague.
You're not really giving any meaningful context.
I mean is my family moving because we have to? Or because we want to?
Is my family moving locally? Nationally? Internationally?
Is my family just me and any kids I have and we're moving internationally in order to live near someone I met online and we want to build a relationship?

The context of why I'm moving and what I hope to gain from it would be the most important influences on what aspects I would consider for the move.

I read somewhere that a Canadian, on average moves six times, over their life span....Me done five already.....please, do not let the last one be...to an old age home....its why you always treat your kids good, because then you can move in with them ...vicious cycle huh!!! Yup, get up late, do nothing around the house, eat , drink, free internet...etc etc...u get the picture....lol...

I actually am in this process right now.
Do I want to stay in Alaska or do I want to move out of state?

What do I take in consideration..
Me and what I want.
Do I go where the best job market is in my field or do I go where I
want?
What do I want out of where I end up?

That is why I am taking til August 1st to decide what, where, I want.

At my age, the only important movement that I am concerned with doesn't require a U-Haul truck.

I have to move. I don't know where to go. I have no kids or pets. I could stay in this area or live somewhere warmer. Not in a city. low cost living.

hmm,, didn't you say somewhere else that there was no one in your area you were interested in...
this may be the opportunity you need to make a change...
live near a larger pool? check job opportunities/rental choices..
Good luck

Thank you all for your serious comments. You contribute in great way to have a nice and pleasant site.

Moving to another place is always a hard decision to take; there are several aspects and conditions to consider; as I said it; specially when a whole family is involved. In some countries; there is a last day( a date)by law to move. A serious date !!!
