Being realistic, what actually someone look after first? And that made him/her decide to communicate? The photos or his/her profile background?

Photo initially, but more on the written profile. There have been some who look good, but after reading their profile they didn't fit what I'm looking for. Some are not so good looking but their profile makes me want to get to know them regardless of looks. Beauty is in the actions not the outer shell.

I look for a combo of photo and profile.
I have sent a lot of polite rejection mail to men who are gorgeous, but whose profile is sparse or colourless. Half of those men are in their early 20's . What the hell am I supposed to do with guys so young? 
I am thinking about opening a shelter for these boys. Mingles -A-Mommy-mous

The photo first and if I like the look (not good looking but an "it" factor), then I read the profile. If there is nothing in the profile or, if the profile is boring or, if there is no personality in the profile that goes with the photo, then it's a no for me.
