Monty Python seems to be a love hate thing. Most males seem to like it and most females seem to dislike it this is just coming from the ones I have known and talked too. You are right British humor is quite different but I personally think it's better than what we have here.

got all 3 movies, watched A LOT of the show... great stuff, but it's a different type of humor, and many americans can't appreciate it... too dry for them I suppose.

Personally I love MP and first thing I saw was Holy Grail..laughed my A$$ off..Since then I've gotten the Box Set and have all the movies.And my fav sketch was the Matress sketch..Where Terry Jones and Carol Cleveland (the 7th Python) go in to buy a mattress after they have been married.
