Yes they do, their legs are like ours, but the top part is covered making it look like they have very short legs.
You never see them sat down because they would get a very cold a$$ very quickly I spent about 11 years in Antarctica, not all at once, I did come home occasionally. Penguin eggs are nice to eat if a little fishy, they stay transparant when cooked, at least the white part does. They also stink when they are in a huddle. It's amazing how they recognise each other don't you think. |

Only the Appalachian emperor penguins. They have their subjects cut their own knees off and pickle them in a jar before sallying forth on a crusade against all other penguins. Deep in the arctic during the brightest aurora borealis there are massive ceremonies where you can hear: "Kneel or die!" "I have no knees!" "Then die!" Little known fact.
