Topic: I have a question(well a few really) | |
---|---|
You send a friendly, hello type message to someone after reading their profile, and they message you back in a friendly way, so you send a couple more, then .............frustrated nothing, all contact stops. So you just presume that they are busy, or haven't been online etc, then after a week you see that they have been online all that time, sometimes they post on the forums etc. My questions then, are to the recipient, have you ever just decided not to carry on talking with someone and if you have, for what reason did you just stop talking to them and did you not think it polite to at least send them a message saying why? And to the sender, would you or have you ever sent them a message back asking why they stopped contact, and would you try to re-ignite the conversation, or would you just accept that either: The other person just didn't want to talk to you in the first place They decided you weren't worth their time. They got bored of you. They don't have very good communication skills, or are they just plain ignorant. Right, all yours biggrin They found someone else and moved on, some just like the attention and the ability to reject for its own sake. some don't know that if you say hello its appropriate to then say goodbye... That happens to me all the time, ![]() ![]() As for the scammer's, I think its more fun to play along and when they ask you for money, tell them... I was rather hoping you could loan me $100 instead ![]() ![]() |
