change is a part of life and well, there is no specific way to deal with it, you just do and move forward. Just know that things always change and be ready for it.

I figure the change MIGHT be good, and I'll never know unless I take a shot at it. If it's bad, I can always go hide in the basement.

First off Maxximus, sorry for these changes if they are negative in your life...
To answer your question, for me, being 97 different personalities in one, (just call my Cybil) change is the only constant in my life. I thrive with changes, either good or bad, I hit the straps and get on with it, and don't give fear a change to get hold of me. I know it's easy to type, and harder to do, it's just what I do...I may fall apart, once life is on an even keel again, however, change is the only constant, for all of us.. |

People fear what they do not understand. So if you cannot accept the reason for change, then you will fear it. With fear running in your life, you will be uncomfortable. But know that each day there is change. Change is essential to new discoveries, new experiences, and learning. It is needed to grow and to pass the bad things into good and vice versa. You must decide if you are willing to comply with the idea that change takes place each day, or if you want to lie to yourself and say that you are safe in your comfort zone.
To grow from boy to a man, one must venture off out of the comfort zone. The comfort zone is a nest, and for man to be a hunter, he must go off and hunt to earn the title from experience. When he returns, he is a hero and seeks his bride so that he can settle down after he has taken life's journey. Change is essential. |

I don't like suprises, so a change is not something I am terribly fond of, either. Whether the change was sudden or expected, it can still roll a person. We are really creatures of habit....change makes us re-arrange our habits, those things we are accustomed to and comfortable with. A lot of times change is upsetting to me at first, but eventually I see why God has taken me down a different path. After all, He is really the only One who knows what lies ahead.

You think change is scary?
Try spiders. I'd rather run into the web of a giant change than the web of a giant spider. You can quote me on that. |
