I keep all my first dates. .to under a half hour long..good are bad..thay all get 30 minutes. . It would seem impolite to me! not to atlest give them..30 minutes of my time..just saying So how bout all them dinners you been bragging about for - lemme check- over 2 years? I spose they were all in the local diner? Or McDriveThru? 
I swear, if you wouldn't buy me some decent lambs rack or a T-bone, I'd throw a wobbler, have a tantrum, then chuck the McBacon down your trousers and pour my coconut shake over your head. Then regret dumping the McBacon ... and my shake... I think I would cry. Then eat my French fries. You're not getting them. Nope. |

Several quick meet and greets went as follows 1) talked and met she shows up and I don't recognize her, she posted another womans photos so she came up to me and said hello. Surprised she was attractive but her lack of honesty was sufficient reason to just chat a few minutes then thank her for meeting - too many hidden issues to deal with 2) Met a gal at a wine bar as agreed her photos were lovely and she appeared in bathing suit weighing about 125 she appeared at wine meeting and outweighed me by sixty lbs im at 186 she was morbidly obese I shared her my disappointment with her false photos and my specific preferences for HWP, 3) One lady met immediately and she wanted to read my palm she did and said I was going to die in less than a year if I did not get her to take care of me - she requested I let her take care of me and take out an insurance policy for 50,000 naming her as beneficiary I was amazed at her scheme and thought how nice for her to collect cash upon my demise lol 4) one lady agreed to meet and the time to meet from 530 to 600 she did not appear at six so I called her and she said she would be there in ten more minutes she arrived, chose not to make eye contact but was quite verbose and after a drink I found her lack social skills enough to not pursue. many are called and few are chosen regardless of narrative, photos, as some enjoy social masturbation with no real interest in meeting just getting attention reminds me of high school when boys would get a girls phone number then not call so silly and immature and now I find some gals doing similar juvenile things here.. If you aren't comfortable with a large number of potential meets this process can be hard on people as emotional expectations run high and honest and direct others not so much. The last time I met and found a partner I had previously met 62 women. I confess to high standards in education, appearance and diverse interests so that narrows the field in the initial process.. but then if one is not willing to run the process one does not desire its potential rewards as of today im at number 49 and counting... lol

The most propitious meeting is soon and not for a long period of time just enough to determine chemistry and mutual interests then if both agree, schedule an actual date. By committing so much time without a prior meeting you made yourself a prisoner of good will. Smarter to meet for just a few minutes to better invest your time and not suffer through three days of placating a stranger.. a dating coach might help you learn better social skills and help you better meet and greet rather than commit and suffer in the name of ill advised good intentions.. Knowledge is power and owning your own errors in dating protocols is necessary to be more effective and likely meet the right person. i get that was for my story of 3 days disaster, but i mentioned that i had the person coming from a very long distance and the ticket was for 3 days later. so being smart may not work at some cases

OMG I have had some disappointing dates, who hasn't , but sorry if some guy wants me to knock myself out for a 30 minute speed date, or be rude when I was nice enough to cook something from scratch he said he wanted I think I would very politely send him out on the patio for something and lock the door behind him.
I have excused myself and said "It was nice meeting you and even nicer saying farewell." and just got up and walked away. Guys who bully wait staff, camp on their phones, come to the table with a cigarette or with filthy language in person, or have to complain about Ex's or their kids I am just not going to endure more than about a New York Minute. . |

years years ago, my first online date was very extraordinary
it was 10 years ago i had this guy coming from a v long distance again he would stay in my town just for a couple of days at the very 1st day we realised that we ere not good for a romantic relationship but.. we got on so well. we were spending so good time together. going to te beaches, cooking together, or one meal he would cook and the next one i would cook. we were having beer and chatting for hours and hours. watching movies together, me falling asleep on one settee and him on the other. we would do big house cleaning lol he was very good at it :D we would change the places of the furniture and make fun. that was such a good time. we couldnt be lovers but became so good friends. this friend who came just for a couple of days stayed for 1 month lol. we never lost contact since then. this is a story which worked kind of other way round :)) |

Humm mine was about a hour and a half the length of time it took us to eat talk a bit and then say good bye...
I'm short he was shorter told him prior that it was dutch on the meal it is the way I prefer..for a first meet... Got there I asked for separate checks.. He got mad and said he was paying and grabbed the check and paid for it I thanked him and we left.. Got home and he sent me a e-mail wanting to know if I would go out again.. I said thanks but no chemistry therefore did not see a reason to.. he then went off on me said all I wanted was a free meal out of it ect 
Humm then I went off on him one I said dutch in the beginning he agreed he grabbed the check after I had separate checks done duhhhhhhh...I can pay my own way and go dutch cause I don't want anyone to think I'm taking advantage of them on a first meet..

I agree with the 1st date thing ... the problem is that a first date is usually relatively cheap. Few coffees. Ten euros / dollars could suffice. Even I can afford that, haha. If you feel you should pay on the 2nd date, and plan to go to a theatre or 3 course meal ... Sod that! Fish & Chips it is! No, wait a minute! that would mean going to the UK ...That's gonna cost a bit ...

Later (3 hours after we were to meet) on my way back home. Got a call from the woman asking where I was. I told her to fix her watch because she was 3 hours late, and to lose my number.

i must have been thinking by my countries prices also did not think about very high priced places. a theatre here would not cost much, also the 2nd meal again doesn't have to be expensive. going to the high priced places should come after, i think. if you feel like u are going to carry on seeing the person then you can pay more than a fish and chips. but never a plane ticket hahaa i wont move. he will have to come :d |
