Men act a lot without thinking. Women talk a lot without thinking. And human beings tend to judge a lot without thinking. Too busy talking. Hence, no time to analyze. |

Which one is more dangerous? A spoken word or a completed action? I guess neither. Perhaps, a half-spoken word, followed by a half complete action, might cause utter 'chaos' and 'confusion'. |

men tune out emotions and women try to understand all emotions. effective communication is key if a lasting relationship is to form. can't tune out emotions, and can't over analyze all emotions. sometimes we feel ways for all the wrong reasons

I keep coming back to how culture plays a big part in this.
Especially in making things confusing. For example, I've read or heard lots of people making the claim above, that women put more work in to figuring out emotional stuff. The thing is, since men are actively discouraged from working on emotions, in all kinds of ways, how do you tell the difference between someone who is ignoring emotions, and someone who learned to pretend to ignore them in order to gain respect in the world? Is there REALLY more actual emotion going on in women, or is it made to appear that way, because men tend to be socially punished for emoting, and women tend to be rewarded? |
