Hi there! I tried to message someone, and when I hit send, I got a message that says I am not eligible to message that person. Why? Does he have me blocked and I just don't know it? Or ??? Please advise.

Members are able to set email filters here: http://mingle2.com/inbox/filters When they do so, it prevents emailers that do not meet their preferences from contacting them, hence the alert. If you go to their profile, just above the email text-box, you can see what filters they have set. |

Hi-- the only thing that is above the message box is "add as friend" and it is grayed out. I do not know which men have which filters... mine is different than what you see.

Hi-- the only thing that is above the message box is "add as friend" and it is grayed out. I do not know which men have which filters... mine is different than what you see. The rest of us have 7 buttons :-) If they have set NO filters, nothing will appear above the message box, if they do, that is where you can see them. Perchance are you using a mobile device? Here is an example of how the preferences look, just above the email text-box: "To message XXXXXXX you MUST meet the following conditions: Age: 34 to 55 NOT seeking an intimate encounter NOT married NOT a smoker" |
