I live in Wasilla AK and I have maybe an inche would like a bit more  SitkaRains, I was going to make a comment about you only having an inch. But I won't, I do understand you wanting more  :)

I don't have a lot of snow compared to the east coast. I try to shovel snow from my long driveway. There is the same 3 inches of snow since November which does not melt. Now, if I had a nice strong man to help me....

When the snow is on the ground, do you get as many snow snakes as we do. They are most noticeable in the country-side around trees. The S mark they leave shows how many their are.
I'm thinking of moving the igloo a few feet for better fishing.

We are in melting mode right now.. I live near the Rocky Mountains and we benefit from 'warm winds' called Chinooks.. and we're in the middle of one now..It is going to be between 6 and 10 degrees celcius during the day for the next couple days..melts the snow, making driving on the roads mucky.. hard to keep a car clean!
