We live in a strange world, and as Neil Armstrong once said, there are "great ideas undiscovered, breakthroughs available to those who can remove one of the truth's protective layers."

Fast forward to today, and a number of people have become aware of the fact that not all of what goes on behind the scenes is made public. This is precisely why the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) was created; it's a federal freedom of information law that allows for the full or partial disclosure of previously unreleased information and documents controlled by the United States government.

There are still many obstacles in the way of full transparency, one of which is the use of 'national security' to keep information classified and hidden from public viewing. This has become more evident with the revelations of WikiLeaks and Edward Snowden, but the problem goes deeper still. Did you know that the U.S government classifies roughly five hundred million pages of documents every single year? This is a completely separate topic in itself and if you're interested in learning more about this, you can check out our article about the 'Black Budget.'

NASA Scientists & What They Say About The Moon

Multiple NASA personnel have made some pretty shocking claims about the Moon. George Leonard, a NASA scientist and photo analyst who obtained various official NASA photographs of the Moon, many of which he published in his book titled Somebody Else Is On The Moon, is just one of these personnel.

Although the photos are small in size and their resolution is not up to today's standards, they show details of original prints which were huge. While Leonard published the identifying code numbers of the photos in his works to back up their source, we still can't say for sure that they were real, and their poor resolution only makes matters worse. Far more compelling than these photos are his statements about what was found on the Moon, along with his verified NASA credentials. Leonard was not the only one with a credible background trying to tell the world the truth regarding the Moon and the photos that were taken from the Apollo missions.

"Ladies and gentlemen, my government, NASA, which many of us in the United States say stands for Never A Straight Answer, proceeded to erase 40 rolls of film of the Apollo Program — the flight to the Moon, the flight around the Moon, the landings on the Moon, the walking guys here and there. They erased, for Christ's sake, 40 rolls of film of those events. Now we're talking about several thousand individual frames that were taken that the so-called authorities determined that you did not have a right to see. Oh, they were 'disruptive,' 'socially unacceptable,' 'politically unacceptable.' I've become furious. I'm a retired Command Sergeant Major. I was never famous for having a lot of patience." (source)

The quote above is from Bob Dean, who was speaking at a conference in Europe. Bob is a retired US Army Command Sargent Major, and he also served at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) of NATO as an intelligence analyst.

When it comes to the UFO phenomenon, we now have public disclosure of thousands of documents along with hundreds of credible witness testimonies. But that is a separate topic, which you can learn more about here.

It's also important to note here that the Russian government recently called for an international investigation into the U.S. moon landings regarding the disappearance of film footage from the original moon landing in 1969. They are also referring to the (approximately) 400 kilograms of lunar rock that was obtained during multiple missions between 1969 and 1972. (source)

Leonard argued that NASA knew about extraterrestrial activity on the Moon and attempted to hide that information. He's not the only one to make such an assertion.

"Read the books, read the lore, start to understand what has really been going on, because there is no doubt that we are being visited. . . . The universe that we live in is much more wondrous, exciting, complex and far reaching than we were ever able to know up to this point in time. . . . [Mankind has long wondered if we're] alone in the universe. [But] only in our period do we really have evidence. No, we're not alone." - Dr. Edgar Mitchell, ScD., NASA astronaut (6th man to walk on the moon)

Here is a clip of NASA astronaut Dr. Brian O'Leary saying the same thing.

Leonard is not the only NASA scientist to say some strange things about the Moon. Recently, a plasma scientist by the name of Dr. John Brandenburg said the same thing. He was the Deputy Manager of the Clementine Mission to the Moon, which was part of a joint space project between the Ballistic Missile Defence Organization (BMDO) and NASA. The mission discovered water at the Moon's poles in 1994. (Source: page 16 of 18)(source)(source)

According to Brandenburg in an interview from this documentary:

It was (the Clementine Mission) a photo reconnaissance mission basically to check out if someone was building bases on the moon that we didn't know about. Were they expanding them?

He then went on to state that:

Of all the pictures I've seen from the moon that show possible structures, the most impressive is a picture of a miles wide recto-linear structure. This looked unmistakably artificial, and it shouldn't be there. As somebody in the space defense community, I look on any such structure on the moon with great concern because it isn't ours, there's no way we could have built such a thing. It means someone else is up there.

If you were to tell the average person that you think another civilization, advanced enough to have mastered space travel, had been to the Moon before we got there and is possibly still going there, you would, without a doubt, receive some very peculiar looks in return. On the other hand, if that other person were to decide to hear you out, you would probably get their attention pretty quickly. For some, this type of information can be overwhelming, even terrifying, and that's okay. Many people are not ready to open their minds up to these possibilities, but the truth of the matter is, it's something we are going to have to confront eventually. We are clearly heading towards the inevitable reality of extraterrestrial contact — that is, if we smarten up and start taking care of our planet to the best of our ability. Perhaps we can make it long enough to realize this future, or maybe it's coming sooner than we think.

That being said, there is a good deal of evidence to suggest that extraterrestrial contact is already happening, and if you're interested in learning more about that you can visit the exopolitics section of our website, located HERE.

No doubt in my mind that we're not alone. Typical human arrogance to think this entire universe was created just to suit us and for us to explore and in time 'invade' more planets.
I have always believed in what I call the Star Trek concept. That at some point we are all advanced enough to lose ego cravings like power, money, status, and then finally live in (relative) peace on our planet.
Then naturally the inquisitiveness of our minds will make us want to explore the galaxy, not to conquer like we would've and did on earth in the old days, but to learn. Like what you see in Star Trek.
Then we'll undoubtedly bump into other species that may be more or less advanced and get involved in similar situations we had/have to deal with here on Earth: aggression, greed etc. Just that by that time we hopefully have learnt to want to deal with it in a peaceful way.
Exactly what Star Trek has shown us. Gene Roddenberry was a very wise men.

If indeed there has been another race on the moon, building a structure there, I think it is pretty safe to say they are not aggressive towards us, but more likely just observing us. If they have the technology to travel from elsewhere, build a structure on the moon, they likely have the power to attack and invade us too, possibly even annihilate mankind. So far they haven't done that, so why should they now?
If we were that advanced and found another planet with a species that was less evolved, we would probably create an outpost to observe them too.

And to be honest, I believe there's already been contact with other species. FOIA or not. They won't tell us, cos we couldn't handle it, yet.
It's just what Tomme Lee Jones said in MiB 1 when Will Smith asked, "Why the big secret. People are smart. They can handle it."
"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky and dangerous animals."

i believe it's our own fault, by going against natures "natural selection" policy... the weak, stupid, sick, and inept are naturally weeded out by other species, or just left to die by the herds... man seems to think we should save everyone, regardless of nothing... someone tries to kill themselves, we try to save them... people that aren't smart enough to stop drinking or doing drugs, we save them... we save the retarded for some reason by sticking them in places with other retards to let them breed... sounds harsh and heartless, but there is actually some truth behind what i say...

Those rolls of film are never erased. There in a vault or vaults scattered all over the government's of all the super powers. Going back to Apollo 8 in 1968, the powers that be, began the practice of "smudging" A.S.N. (Apollo spacecraft negitives). 300 foot glass towers, abandoned military complexes, civilian cities, all smudged out. Our planet has been dealing with extraterrestrials for a long time. Face on Mars, Cydonia city? We're Not Supposed To Know About the powers that be. That's why our world is in such disarray. They run our leaders worldwide, right down to your religious leaders.

Maybe we're the subjects of the alien's experiment and the aliens are just monitoring the results. We've gone wrong in so many ways, especially with everything centered around money and war.

Our kind is in a cycle that we are unable to get out of. I think we are a big fail. We just haven't advanced. We're up to the same thing we've been up to since we were created. Not much change there.

maybe not an experiment, but something more like the movie "Jupiter Ascending" or "They live" type thing going on... all the confusion, misinformation and secrets make it hard to know whats actually true anymore...

Up to a point I agree, although I'm not sure what the connection is with the moon and alien thing?

When medics proudly say they can now save premature born babies of 20 weeks old, I'm thinking: you can, but should you?
Not so long ago, it would've been a miscarriage, and we'd assume there was a reason for it. Now we save the child ...
Is it really for the best? And for whom, the parents or the baby?
I know it would be hard for parents to lose their child, I'm a mother myself, but in a way I feel it's selfish to put a little being through so much agony and stress. Yet if I had to make the choice ...
Same thing with old people. Many would die at a certain age if nature went its way, but medical science keeps them going and going and going. Who are we to do that, but then again, who are we to NOT do it?
Decisions decisions ... we treasure life, but sometimes a little too much maybe? Or not? Who are we to judge? Did god give us these means to be used, or did we start playing god? Bleep knows...

And that I totally do not agree with. A shame you see it that way.
We've come so far, grown so much as a species, and since approx 2000-2005 we are evolving and ascending at an exponentially higher speed, and it keeps going faster.
It has been predicted by some that by 2032 much of the world will be quite different -in a good way of course- and the speed at which people are growing and changing, I think we are indeed going to see that happen by that time. By 2050 most of the world should be at peace and a much happier place.
I'm 84 by then (holy crap!!) so I could witness that. I sure as heck hope so!

Ah, thank you for clarifying, lol.
Yes, you're right. But isn't that all part of the process of getting there? We aren't the fastest species when it comes to learning, but then again, to us 2 centuries seems like eternity, in the grand scheme of things it's nothing. What is a few thousand years? Peanuts.
At least more and more people are becoming aware that certain things are completely stupid and should/could be different. I mean, "2 seconds" ago we were still burning people at the stake because they had a mole. ohwell
Imagine where we'll be in another "2 seconds"
I do believe the waiting can be rather tedious for the ones who do see and understand... waiting for the ones who aren't ready yet to get there too.
But remain positive, Moe! You're a wonderful man with a wonderful inquisitive mind. DOn't let the 'dim' dim you.

I'm not dreaming, I'm observing and feeling.
Just look in the eyes of a new born or a toddler about 1 yr old. You will see it. They're like a different species.
They shine, they glow, they are different and when they grow up, they will do things in a completely different way.
Even when you look at recent history, you can see the changes and growth. And it's pretty d@rned amazing to then see just how fast things are evolving! It's a beautiful process and I'm really happy to be part of it :)

Our kind is in a cycle that we are unable to get out of. I think we are a big fail. We just haven't advanced. We're up to the same thing we've been up to since we were created. Not much change there.

That's just the way I see it. World peace - I can't stop laughing about that one.

Good one, Crystal! Keep dreaming. We are not capable of that.

Love you more!

I totally see where you coming from. You always have a nice perspective about things. Especially, in your art as well.

The more we believe in abundance, peace, and harmony, the more it becomes reality.

This is an area of the lunar surface that I find intriguing.

lets look it in a diffrent perspective..
may be we didnot find anything on moon.. (iam not saying we are alone) so it means no big breakthroughs.. so things are kept in dark.., to make people intrigued about it, make it more fascinating.. which led people speculate about the diffrent theories out there.. may be they did this intentinally(the secrecy) so that there is no hurdle in finance (black budget) and resources for further space exploration.. (which i think is necessary)
what you think?
is it possible?
