Please your take on our universe...,does it go on forever or end somewhere...and if it does end......what makes it end...? Hindu phylosophy (if one may call it that): After the end is another birth. And the cycle goes on ceaselessly. another similar universe in another place. humanity regathers.. does not give a clear cycle time though. that's Hinduism; left to interpretations a place where comics and math converge. |

The idea of "end" is an artificial human construct.

The idea of "end" is an artificial human construct. man likes the idea of limits... seems to make our lives normal with limits attached |

God simple answer for the simple minded... belief in a god does not mean to stop looking for other answers besides the one answer that fits everything and keeps people from looking for the real answers... do you really think your god wants you to not look for answers instead of just dumping everything in it's lap? |

The universe itself make it end

Hmmm.. perhaps the Big Bang was nothing more than just the creation of our planet.. in the beginning there was nothing then he raised his hands.. and then there was something.... like a newborn baby.. there is nothing but consciousness until you are born.. and then in that moment.. there is something.. your universe is created in a instant.. a flash of light.. the turning on of the lights... so to speak... if you were observing a planet being created... and perhaps you are somewhat of a philosopher a poet.. you might think the second the planet comes into formation.. becomes a planet.... there is a turning on of the lights moment.... if you were on the planet the second it was developed.. you might think wow where did all this stuff come. From. a second ago there was nothing..now there is something.. the Great Awakening.. consciousness..... but I digress... a beginning and a end..... I believe was the question...lol... I have learnt this much.. not only from observing the universe but life on this planet... everything has a beginning and a end..
. Now this is the end of my post |

And besides why do you need to know if there is an end(.?. Isn't it enough to know that you have an end.. limited time... what good would it do you to know there is an end.. would you just stand at the abyss at the edge of the universe.. quietly say to yourself
.yup.. I figured there was an end to it.. Then turn around and go back the way you came....lol... saying to yourself..hmmm.. now what great mysteries should I unravel...lol |

And what would the end of the universe look like.?.. would it be like a dead end alley.. you are just faced with a wall..hmmm... would there be just nothingness... but in that nothingness there must be something.. just darkness.. dark matter... if you stuck your hand out into the nothingness would your hand cease to exist..?.. you see sometimes finding the answer... ok more to the point looking for the answers.. only reveals to us how unprepared we are..
How unworthy we are.. to find the answers... the answers to the universe only come to us when we are truly prepared.. to comprehend the meaning.. of the answer... if you don't have the consciousness.. the enlightening.. to comprehend the answer.. it would truly be lost on us... .. it would be like giving a VCR to a caveman....lol |

I first had to look up the difference between the universe and a galaxy, lol.
I'm not blond, seriously I am not. I just wasn't sure. Anyways, I don't think there's an end to the universe. I can't back it up with mathematical stuff, just that not that long ago we figured the earth was flat and we'd fall off if we went to far. To me thinking there's an end to the universe seems very similar. I mean, what do you expect to find at the end? A huge wall? To fall off into ... what? To disappear into oblivion? Even if there's just the one universe it prolly has no end. Like time isn't linear, even though it's easier for us to think linear. Isn't it a living thing? Energy, having a matrix etc. Planets/stars coming and going, and solar systems as well. Hmmm... intriguing subject, but this kind of stuff does give me a headache, lol. Can the human brain wrap itself around such things? |

I believe the universe is a continuous thing - and not in a straight line either. Humans created the concept of linear time - how do we not know that there aren't multiple timelines going on at once? I mean - people feel dejavu - some people dream things that are going to happen BEFORE they happen... so what other explanation would there be? Some people call it intuition, some people call it ESP, but what if everything we've done has already happened? And no I'm not talking about a prewritten road map created by 'God'.... Any takers? |

Any takers? instinct, maybe? the memories of our ancestors buried in our genes makes you make think your seeing the future, but actually you're seeing whats already happened? |

Could be ..... I mean - History repeats itself right? :-) me personally, i think everything in the universe has a fluid like structure, including time... |
