Nicknames are very common in my family.
My 4 yr. old nephew is Squeekin', cause he didn't cry he sqeeked.
My 25 yr old nephew is still called "Peepers".
My 32 yr old brother is still called "Skunk"
we also have a "lil man", "super brat", and "Spud Head".

I myself was called " Dr. Candle" and hated every second of it.

i call my daughter 23, betty spaghetti(elizabeth) and my son 7(brandon)bubbaloo.When he was real young he was my little cupcake. lol

those are some funny names! lol...in every family I think there are a few

Where are all the good women at?

Been calling my boy Monster since he was born. When he would nurse, he would make Monster noises while suckling.

Now people think I call him Monster because he can act like a Monster at times.

Family nicknames that I am called...name shortened to Mich, Michie. Brother calls me Booger. Sister and I call each other Sissy, Sister and Sista. Niece and nephew call me Auntie or Tante (yiddish for Auntie).

I oldest for the first year of her life i called Tooter. She was a very gassy baby! lol Now i call her Bug. My youngest i call Cotton. She looks just like the dad Cotton on King of The Hill. Especially when she scrunches her cute lil face! lol

I call my daughters, punkin, princess and bunky...
my son I call a pain in the ass.

My daughter I call Turtle (because when she was little and laid on her back, she reminded me of a turtle on its back) and I call my son Monkey because he climbs on everything.

I started calling my nephew "Bucko" when he was small & my sister turned it around on me..
He's 25yrs old now & still calls me that! even to his friends He introduces me as Aunt Bucko!

My Daughter got stuck with Loulou & lizard or linz....

My Gramma they always called "Tickles"

we call my 5 year old "bratty patty from cincinnati" even though her name is tiana. and we call my 7 month old beb which is short for bug eyed baby because of her huge eyes. her name is aubrea

I mostly refer to my son as little beastie...my nickname as a kid was buzzard

What a cool post! I'm so glad my family is not the only one that has a nickname for everyone! My mom is Nanu, my dad, Remis, my sister is Kowou, Kafer, shaefer and basil, my names are Fon, Leprechaun, Lord (yes, I know, it was Lord Ratacsus and she was Basil) and my brother, though he'd kill me was spanky, but also Jackson (though his name is Jeff). Then the dogs...my one dog we called Ed for a while even though his name was Brutus, he was either fun ed or special ed, dpending on what he was doing. Thor, the other one became Thorman the Doorman...I dont know.
Then...I gave birth to the next generation. My son is 2 now, so he's had 2 long years to get names, and has fared faily well so far. My sister calls him "Squishy" and I think she always will, I call him Platypus Snorfblatt, Sugar Plum, Dude, Buddy etc etc, my mom calls him Honey Bun, little man has been said by the rest of the family. I hope he doensn't hate me for it when he's older, I'm sure he'll be embarrassed someday (like when he's 6'4 and 300 running down the football field and we're yelling "Go Squish" from the stands)

i didnt have a nickname as a child
but my brother had a cute one.
his name was jacob russell and he was a boy scout
so we called him brussell scouts lol

I didn't know my name for many years so it was nice to just hear my Dad say it when we were reunited after 46 years. My grandsons Call me Bubbles because I took them bubbles to play with. I call my grandsons; all five of them Jaybird. They like it because when I call them that they usually get a treat or somehing special.

I have no children but my nickname as a child was Boober and now everyone calls me Bran which is a little annoying . My little sister is 11 and everyone calls her Knothead , Little Bit or Little Buddy.
My sister calls my nephew who is 1 Little Buddy because my brother has called her Little Buddy since she was small so she wanted to pass it down .

I call my son Pooh because he Winnie the Pooh's color and although he hated it,hes now 12 and answers to it

my oldest daughter= short crotch : cuz she was so little and walking at 9 months old

my second daughter= ony offy : she wanted to be held , and then let down

my third= spunkaroo = always and still has attitude

ever once in awhile yet they are still called these names

I used to call my son Brown sugar because he is tan

and my friends called him "Eyes on ground Jesse" for his ability to find the most amazing things, and $20 bills on the road
