Hi, I am not receiving all messages from other members. I get a notification on my phone from the Mingles2 app that shows the name of the person and the beginning of the message, but when I open it on my phone and it takes me to the website, there's nothing. And when I get on my computer to check, still nothing. I searched the name of one sender and asking if they had written to me, just to make sure something was actually sent, and they said yes. Any idea what's going on here? And no, I do not have my mail settings on block. I receive some but not all.

Actually, I was wrong. Now that I think about it, I haven't gotten ANY messages where they have messaged me first. I can only see them when they reply to my messages here on the site. Otherwise all I get is a notification on my phone when something is sent to me, but that's it.

Does this happen when using the app, Jamerican66? You mention your phone and I have not been able to duplicate the issue on the web, thus far.

No Charles, it seems the app on my phone is the only thing working correctly. The only way I know someone has messaged me is through my phone. The thing is, when I click on the alert message on my phone, it takes me to the website and nothing is there. And like i said, the alert on my phone shows the persons profile name and the beginning of their message. I don't get it. For some reason I cannot receive messages directly to my inbox here on this site.

I was having terrible problems messaging another user. I kept getting notifications on my phone, but not all of the messages. She got frustrated and bailed. None of the 6 or so messages are viewable on my desktop browser, they are only on my phone if at all. They are not under "Messages" either- they are only accessible from a side tab on one of the connection listings. Very frustrating- I thought it was just me, or that she had actually blocked me or something...

Im having the same issue, using the mobile site..

it shows a notification above the mail the icon, then when I go to it sometimes it will show the new messages and the preview but when i click on the message their message doesn't display it just says 'input message to *userwhomailed*'

other times when I click it is shows no unread message, but later wilk show 'new' messages that are magically 3 days old

Cant see the messages

Open Mail (Inbox). If there are any new messages you are notified in red letters (New) against the message received. Click on that and it will open up the message for you to read.
