College of William & Mary Students Want Statue of 'Incestuous Rapist' And 'Racist' Thomas Jefferson Removed

Students at the College of William & Mary want Thomas Jefferson’s status removed from campus because they call him an “incestuous rapist” and a “racist.”

The Jefferson statue there is now covered in yellow notes that say things including: “he knew it was wrong,” “racist” “rapist,” “black lives matter,” and ” stop worshiping racists.”

The College of William & Mary, Jefferson’s alma mater, is one of many schools in America where student activists are debating the legacy of the Founding Fathers and demanding the removal of anything that commemorates them.

At Princeton University, student activists held a sit-in inside the office of the president demanding that Woodrow Wilson’s name be removed from all the university’s buildings.

Students at the University of Missouri are also targeting Thomas Jefferson. A petition has been created for the removal of Jefferson’s statue from university grounds.

According to the petition:

The need to project a progressive environment is just as important as food and shelter to survive. A welcoming environment does not stop at the feet of individuals in particular spaces. A welcoming environment is also determined by its physical environment e.g., the use of artifacts in designated spaces. Some individuals may not see Thomas Jefferson’s statue in the quad as a form of oppression, but in higher education settings where highly conscious students are present, it is relatively easy to see and read such nonverbal messages.

Thomas Jefferson’s statue sends a clear nonverbal message that his values and beliefs are supported by the University of Missouri. Jefferson’s statue perpetuates a sexist-racist atmosphere that continues to reside on campus.

I'm thinking of starting a new business designing new school systems.

I'm thinking a giant 150,000 square foot warehouse like structure where everyone gets their own stall.

Standard public bathroom size.

Where everyone sits on a toilet with a t.v. dinner tray instead of a desk.

Each stall has a computer monitor on the door.
Teachers give lessons via telecommunications to all students computer screen.

Lunch is just concentrated astronaut paste or military like MRE.

And gym class is just getting those precrime diagnosed as "bullies" chasing the kids to their respective homes, whereupon they touch empowered youth home base and then chase bullies to the bullies home.

All kids will be in "public" school between the ages of 6 and 25, with no universities or colleges allowed.

The correct response from the college should be..."Want in one hand and $hit in the other and see which one fills up first".
But it won't be. These liberal colleges spawned these lil SJW $hits....and now the young are eating their mothers.

It amazes me that people are just now throwing temper tantrums. Jefferson died a long time ago. The confederate flag,statues and other "offensive" things have been around for a good while and people are just now noticing and whining?

How many students there are the 1st generation (in their families) to go to college?
They chose to go there & were excepted there.

And who is paying for their education & room & board & meals & supplies & clothes?

When these whiny trouble makers, graduate or do an internship & the potential employers see the school name, & wonder or ask. " Are you one of the kids that is offended or afraid of a statue ? " Will they feel pride then ? Or will they say," I was not hired because of discrimination?"

Too many young people are cutting their noses off to spite their face.
And too many mature adults are k@ssing under 25 a@@ & letting them dictate policy. .... Now THAT is frightening.

Study hard, finish college, get a job and a good 10 years of real life under your belt. Then I will give a **** what you think

I'm going to go a little conspiracy theory here...but the 'you should be offended' dictators(media, press, even politics)...programming younger minds that anything 'possibly offensive' is wrong and should be removed...is a great way to start taking away rights, and pass laws that aee unconstitutional.

First, we take away the respect for our founding fathers(calling them racist, rapist.liars..etc)....then start discrediting the work they did...where are their names signed?...those should be removed too..

Eventually there will be no signatures left...and it will shift to why are we following this document(constitution)...it's already proven to be written by rapist, racists, and other 'ignorant' people...in fact just keeping it gives credence to these imbeciles ....then these same idiots wanting the statue removed, will have chidren who will be advocates for destroying the constitution because it's 'old and offensive' and was written by stupid people....just wait
