Part 1
Houston we have a Problem: http://youtu.be/lTSVOnhL/ Secret Taped Phone Call With ‘Refugee Services of Texas’ Reveals How Texas is About to be Overwhelmed and a Massive Transfer of Wealth from American Taxpayers to Syrian Refugees is Underway (VIDEO) Border Invasion, Economy, Middle East, Today's News, War on Terror November 3, 2015 LibertyNEWS Report The U.S. Government’s meddling in the Middle East has created a massive problem that is now eating its way across the globe like an unstoppable cancer. Thanks to State Department and CIA efforts to topple governments in the Middle East, the entire region is now being ripped apart by war. As a result of war hundreds of thousands (If not millions) are fleeing for the West. Unfortunately, the West is in no way capable of dealing with such a massive influx of people who cannot take care of themselves. Not financially, not morally and not mentally. Europe is on the verge of economic collapse and the U.S. is not far behind. It’s bad enough for Europe (financially) that hundreds of thousands of people are flooding in and European nations have no capacity to deal with them. For the U.S. it’s worse, however, because we’re transferring billions of dollars to roll out the red carpet for Muslim refugees when our own citizens are struggling to make ends meet. Here in the U.S. we’re not shuffling people into camps. No, here we’re setting Muslim refugees up with a better life than many taxpayers have. And these same taxpayers are footing the bill. Everything I’ve said so far shouldn’t come as a surprise. Barack Obama recently announced he’s raising the refugee cap from 70,000 to 85,000 to make room for 15,000 Syrian refugees. His plan for next year involves the cap shooting to 100,000. This means some 45,000 Syrians, most of whom are likely Muslim, will enter the U.S. between now and the end of next year. This you probably already know. What you might not know, though, is that every single one of them will likely get flights, a furnished apartment, monthly cash, education, healthcare, job placement assistance and more. This all starts the day they arrive. When Obama says he’s bringing in 45,000 from Syria, he leaves out the part about how much it will cost taxpayers. He makes the announcement as if Syrians will find their way here, be allowed in and sent on their way to figure life out like the rest of us. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Truth is, Obama’s federal government has been bankrolling organizations with billions of dollars in preparation for this invasion of foreigners. And he’s been doing it all right in front of us. None of it is hidden. Well, thanks to media it is hidden… but in plain sight. Exactly how much are we talking here? Well, the State Department spent about $3 billion on refugee services for the fiscal year that ended September 30th of 2015. That amount is expected to increase this year. Again, Obama spent $3 BILLION of our dollars moving foreigners into the U.S. as refugees last year. How is all of this money being spent and through what process? The answer is not easy to explain. In fact, the money flows through a vast network of organizations via the Office of Refugee Resettlement. The ORR is a division of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. For this story we’re going to focus on Texas. The state of Texas is in for a wild ride over the next few years as its conservative, free market environment has created a gold mine for the fed when it comes to refugees. Texas leads the nation in refugee resettlement because unlike most states, Texas has a bustling economy, a great job market and sustainable state government. Additionally, Texas has a vast network of resettlement agencies and astroturfed (Paid grassroots) refugee communities. Texas has 26 organizations/agencies who plan on receiving Syrian refugees. We haven’t gone through each of them to see what kind of taxpayer dollars are flowing in, but we’ve pulled enough to know the sum is enormous. In 2013/14, for example, the ORR funneled nearly $34,000,000 in mandatory spending and another $7,000,000 for the ‘Refugee Social Services Program.’ This funding was for Texas alone… never-mind the 49 other states and the funding pumped their way. And ALL of it is earmarked for refugees. One of the largest networks set to receive Syrian refugees is the Refugee Services of Texas. $1,243,000 was redistributed to RST last year and that amount is expected to increase significantly this coming fiscal year. $1.2 million may not sound like a lot, but consider that RST only handles a small percentage of the refugees coming in. The cost per refugee is unknown, but we know the Syrians coming will get flights, apartments, furniture, education, healthcare, a welcome kit that includes a lump sum of cash, monthly cash payments and job placement programs. We know this because it was all explained in a secretly recorded call obtained by a Liberty.com source in Texas. |

Well this reminds me of the Vietnamese migration in the late 70's and 80's. I know in Oregon we were over run. They would come in get housing, cars, all living expense then... Education. at least a 4 years program.
So now another influx has it really stopped.. Not really we dumb Americans foot the bill for this all the time. As much as I would like to blame Obama for this I can't. kicking rocks...lots of rocks |

Thankfully, Houston has some recent experience with this sorta thing...all those fine "refugees" from Katrina who went there....

So I listened to the entire call and to be honest this program doesn't sound very involved insofar as the taxpayer is concerned.
Refugees get $1000 when they show up. Volunteers help out furnishing the apartment with what sounds like donated items. The refugee signs the lease and THEY are responsible for paying the rent. They get ESL classes, a one day job fitness session, and a case worker to help them get a job. They are given bus orientation information, and are helped to become self sufficient. Doesn't sound to me like anyone is handing them a car, a mansion, stockpiles of food, or a $50 an hour job. Sure, you already have unemployed people in the area, and to be fair, the state should have case workers to help you find a job, assess your current job skills, and see if there are any programs you can enroll in to help you get a job. Are there no such services and programs in Texas to help the locals as well as the refugees? IF not, THEN you have a legitimate gripe. Based on the information provided in the recording, there's no pot of gold here for people landing in the U.S. |

Remember them?, you have been slamming them for months for lack of empathy & low migrant numbers. Good news.. It looks like the people themselves are willing to pay for more then 25,000 now, including health care. After all it isn't a pot of gold. I think their prime minister will match Obama.. Person for person & dollar for dollar. And they don't mind building more mosques or Sharia law either. And they may have a surplus of virgins for those 72%-75% peaceful religion guys you have. If not.. they'll make due. " Fair game " right? |

<--- slides the saucer of cream over.
So where to start? (cracks knuckles, sips coffee) 1) The newly elected Liberal government made much of how the Conservatives were being 'racist' in assuming everyone was a member of ISIS and delaying them coming to Canada. Guess what? NOW the Liberals are saying, hmmmm, guess we can't get all 25,000 refugees here before the end of the year. Why? Well we have to check them out first. Make sure they won't bring diseases into Canada. Wanna be sure they're not terrorists. We also don't have a place for everyone to live, or work, or go to school. WELL, ISN'T THAT AMAZING???!!! First week, and they've already broken an election promise, and are sounding like the Conservatives. Amazing how REALITY entered the conversation for them. Even more amazing, how the press hasn't called them out on it. But hey, they care, right? 2)Kinda makes sense to provide them with health care should they bring something with them from the old country that didn't appear before they got on the plane or boat. 3) We don't build mosques, the Muslims do. We also fight them if the mosque is going to impact the non-Muslim locals. We don't have 5:00 am call to prayer blasting from the minarets for example. 4) Muslims have indeed tried to get Sharia law enshrined, but they have been successfully thwarted in the courts and at the ballot box. Doesn't mean they won't try again. Just means I keep a clean suit, pressed tie, and shined shoes on hand at all times for the trips to City Hall. 5) 72-75% peaceful guys? Wow, any Muslim I've ever talked to swears 99%of them are peaceful. They have no idea who the troublemakers are, and obviously they are simply ignorant of how Islam works. I try NOT to laugh out loud when I hear this, as it's simply the polite thing to do. |

Texas to help the locals as well as the refugees? For starters: TexCare Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Texas Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) Texas Head Start Texas Medicaid Texas School Breakfast and Lunch Program Texas Special Milk Program Texas Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Texas Summer Food Service Texas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Texas Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Texas Unemployment Insurance Texas Weatherization Assistance Program ....they are, however, by no means free....And all the taxpayers rise and say "You're welcome". |

<--- slides the saucer of cream over.
So where to start? (cracks knuckles, sips coffee) Oh yes..the saucer comment AGAIN Resorting to sexism when a woman disagrees with you. As for the rest of your post. I will read it at the end of your cycle. Excuse me as I scratch my nuts like I taught the fairer sex something. |

Since WHEN is cream sexist? OMG
There are no MALE cats on the planet? The comment was meant to illustrate that you can get a little cranky when someone doesn't agree with your posts entirely. Your most recent post kind of makes my point. I try to resort to logic and common sense when a woman disagrees with me. Thus, I have always been the proud owner of very comfortable 7 foot long sofas as a precaution. Scratch my nuts? Well, what I do in private is kinda my own business, right? Teach you anything? I wouldn't for a second entertain the notion that you don't already know everything you need to. My posts are for others who may care to follow the conversation, not to teach you anything. Feel free however to absorb anything you find useful. I do so enjoy being helpful to people in their journey through the cosmos. |

all that aside, there's a bigger problem:
A convicted terrorist with links to ISIS and Al Qaeda was caught trying to smuggle into Europe posing as an asylum seeker. Mehdi Ben Nasr, 38, arrived on the Italian island of Lampedusa last month on a refugee boat that had set sail from Libya. The Telegraph reports that Mehdi was arrested in northern Italy in 2008 and sentenced to seven years in prison after he was found to be head of a terrorist cell with links to Al Qaeda. He was extradited to Tunisia following the conviction. "Upon his arrest-police said they had seized poisons, remote explosive detonators and manuals on guerrilla warfare. He was captured then along with 13 Algerians and Tunisians across Europe as part of an anti-terrorism operation led by Italian authorities. Medhi's seven-year sentence, based largely on 25 wiretaps, was confirmed by the Reggio Emilia appeal court in 2011," the Independent reports. Mehdi returned to Italy on October 4 under the assumed name of Mohamed Ben Sar, with false identity papers to back up his claim. He told authorities that he wanted to travel to northern Europe to be with relatives. However, officials became suspicious after meeting with him over a three day period, and then fingerprint records revealed his true identity. "During the arrest [last week], police found al-Qaeda manuals linked to the production of explosives and detonation devices. Just days before, he was heard giving advice and recommending contacts to a group of terrorists in Syria during an intercepted phone call," according to the Telegraph. Among the intercepted calls was one made to terrorists in Damascus. "German channel n-tv claims the Italian government initially tried to hide the story to avoid 'panic' and 'scare tactics.' The news did not emerge until several days after Mehdi had been detained last week," Breitbart reports. The Italian government deported the terrorist back to Tunisia, where he was handed over to authorities. European government officials have feared that ISIS and other terrorist groups would use the refugee crisis to infiltrate their operatives into the continent. The BBC reported last spring that refugee boat operators in ISIS controlled areas must turn over up to half their earnings to the Islamic State, as well as smuggle fighters into Europe. |

Ok,so he's caught in Italy with fake ID, materials for bomb making, had conversations with known terrorists and provided material assistance to others to help them make contacts, and Italy thought the best solution was to chuck him back to Tunisia?
Cause he would NEVER think about trying another country to enter Europe instead, right? Maybe throwing him in an Italian jail for 20 years might have been a wee bit safer for all concerned? He should be out of a Tunisian jail pretty quickly since they are 79 out of 175 on the Transparency International website. That's assuming he goes to jail there at all. What crime did he commit there? He could have bought his fake ID somewhere else. They likely won't hold him other than to get a stern talking to about being a bad person. There will be finger wagging, bad words, and a lecture. Yeah. Great plan. |

This is for me a perfect example why there is a need for American citizen to wake up. "Many are working too hard or watching too many sitcoms to think about politics. Let alone, try to make an impact for social change. Every regime tried to drum into your heads that things cannot be diferent, like this one, your government now has the electronic media & the big money to indoctrinate the population" So thats it then? History tells us that change is imminent. People have to relearn to think for themselves. Reading critically & challengingly must come back into fashion. Differing views must not only be tolerated but encourage to come up with something actually substantive for a resolution. Why cant people think????? Isnt it high time to think again of the Five Pillars of New Democracy? Have american citizens truly forgotten that: "Grassroots movement for democracy & human rights are in the American bloodstream. No country. Let me repeat that, no country has ever had as many diferent & powerful social movement as the USA" Refugees? Can u think first of yourself before refugees? What?have u gone all couch potatoes politically?Apathetic politically? Powerless to get up from the couch politically? I am not built to protect & lead. I am built to wonder, to ask why? From my corner of the world, I am an oldmaid hillybilly who works on a small scale corporation in a very small country, but I cant stop wondering why the citizens of america, allowed their economy to teeter,on the verge of collapse & u allow your government on this refugee issue? what happen to social movement? |
