Jared Fogle, the former Subway restaurant pitchman, has paid out a total of $1 million in restitution to 10 of his 14 victims.

Fogle, who has agreed to plead guilty to child pornography charges and having sex with minors, has paid $100,000 to each of the 10 victims. Prosecutors expect the remaining four individuals to receive similar payments before Fogle is sentenced on Nov. 19. The funds came from $1.4 million put aside under the terms of a plea agreement.
Fogle faces a possible sentence of a minimum of five years in prison.
Fogle, a 38-year-old father of two, rose to national prominence when the Subway chain discovered he lost more than 200 pounds by eating their sandwiches and exercising. The restaurant giant featured him in their ads starting in 2000 and he continued working for the chain until July – the same month when authorities raided his Indianapolis home.
Court documents allege Fogle commissioned Russell Taylor, the executive director of his charity focused on childhood obesity, to produce pornography using at least a dozen underage victims, one as young as 6. He also flew several times to New York City to have sex with at least two underage girls.

I do think those who have reached the stage of 9th grade and later can 'consent' to sexual activities, personally,, but forced upon anyone, sex is more about power and humiliation and the victim deserves justice,,,

There was no child porn on their computers & the age of consent has no conditions or restrictions, including solicitation of minors & solicitation to recruit children 15 & younger.

There were no confessions & the victims are just child wh@res, who must of enjoyed it, & or profited from it. Or just wanted Scooby Doo drugs for a backyard birthday party. Or they were so impressed by Jarad's stardom they used him to further their career in finger painting.
Therefore they are not worthy of any justice or financial restitution.

he is guilty of crimes that have penalties,, the question was only what the crime is to answer the question of what he should receive as a penalty'

1."receiving" child porn(which means someone gave him porn of minors which is anyone not yet 18

2. he traveled to have sex with a minor, who was 17 years of age



given those facts, my answer stands,, I do believe a girl at 17 can give consent, even if the law figures it otherwise, so I PERSONALLY don't feel there should be any penalty there


I also believe he obviously has a currently unacceptable attraction to teens,,,for which he should do some time and mental health assistance,,,,

I am a female, I was a teen, I have a daughter, and girl cousins

I still believe sex is sex and age is irrelevant once one is of a SEXUALLY ACTIVE age,, so long as both parties are consentual

I may personally be PISSED off at some grown man carrying on with my teen, but I still stand by my opinion that if teens are old enough to 'come out' and to be sexually active and to be expected at some point to become sexually active,, that is the point where there 'consent' is implied and aknowledged,, regardless the age of the other party,,,
