Why is it that most people are scared of putting their real photos on mingle?

Because they either have something to hide or their a scammer... not always, women do it so they don't get 56 emails a day from horny kids and other idiots... not sure why guys do it...

It's been my experience that I get more responses and/or messages if I don't show a close up on my face. I did a study and have empirical evidence to back up the fact that I am one repulsive SOB.

This is probably true most of the time. However I had a lot more messages when I had the pic of the scrunched up face and crossed eyes that Mingle kindly removed for me
