well let me speak for this 5'5or 5'6 person first i dont lie about my height because i like being short and it doesnt matter to me the height of a woman as long as she has a heart of gold.and as far as the jokes only shows the intelligence of the people telling them..not much..and ive pretty much heard them all.height differences are easily noticeable too bad that isnt the case where I.Q's are concerned but given time people will eventually show their ignorance..

back to the subject i would have to say no it wasnt right for the guy to lie about his height but he probably figured if he told you that you wouldnt go out with him ..hell last week i was turned down because i was the same height as the girl i asked to just have lunch with me ..oh well her loss..but did you ask him why he lied and more importantly did he treat you kind and like a lady ..did he mind his manners ..dont be influenced by the size of the man but by the size of his heart.he probably has a problem with his height bad enough to where he would lie but maybe he thought you were worth taking that chance ..i hope you had a good time
