I've done everything else according to her wishes, even though they weren't congruent with mine, and at the mo those feelings surface as well, so I'm seeing red, lol. I will have to make some phone calls tomorrow. Turns out that as an heir I can get a copy of the testament myself. Will cost me money, but still. I will need a death certificate for that, which I should be able to get too, as I'm his/an heir. Also costs money, and does mean I have to drive quite far to obtain that, but I am going to anyways if it means that I get my copy of the testament. Danged livid. As if I'm asking for something totally rude and weird. Fact that she reacts like this, gives ME reason to be suspicious. If there's nothing to hide, why be so difficult? Oh well... breathe in, breathe out ... tomorrow's another day. |

Fight for what is yours Get what you are entitle to. Your dad left it for you. She has no right to keep it. Having those documents are good anyway to keep with the family documents. True colours come out in people when it come to money If it was me I would fight all the way. The woman has nothing to stand on. If you don't get it now you may never get it. I would say she knows what in the will. Lol I hope it's the house and she has to move out. Sorry I hate this sort of thing and I'm like a Jack Russell puppy holding on until I have it. |
