Im flying it. I have sold this flag for 20 years. In all honesty I believe the flag is part of American history. People are going to make it what they want to make it. I don't think it should be banned though. I try to live my life right the way God wants me to. I pray for him to help me and he has. I have sold so many confederate flags it isn't funny. Im sure some people will come down on me. I really don't care because im in business and its all about supply in demand and Im thankful I had source to obtain these flags. I have put a healthy amount of money in my savings account. But I find it odd our president wants this flag banned. I think he is a bit racist. I am not .

I doubt God would endorse what the Confederate flag has become a symbol for but if that is how you want to pay your bills and you have customers it is still a free country. I won't buy or display one.

Not a problem with flag until some radical uses it as a symbol for the wrong reasons. God damn it! Dukes of hazards was one of my favorite TV shows! lol Are the people supposed to burn their replica cars also? Society has twisted the flag's true symbolism.
Also all this nonsense about black lives matter. All lives matter. People are all screwed up. Need more jobs so people do not sit around dreaming about what to protest next. |

Get your facts straight, and calm down. No one of consequence , especially including the President, has said they want the flag you sell BANNED.
What has been said, is that for a government representative to fly it is inappropriate. |

What has been said, is that for a government representative to fly it is inappropriate. ^^^^^ this The rebel flag represents different things to different people; states rights, individualism, southern history, and yes racism, so go ahead and fly your flag from your home, or your car antennae, whatever the reason. But for something seen as racist, to fly it from the statehouse is as inappropriate as hoisting the Nazi flag would be. |

History is history.
Obliterating it, or banning it, changes nothing. |

Had a bit of a Confederate flag situation here this past Friday. My high school alma mater's mascot is The Rebels...although, a rebel flag hasn't been associated with the school in several decades.
Friday, before the football team' Jamboree game, the school stated that fans couldnt bring or fly a rebel flag in the stadium anymore. Some people were pissed but most didnt care.....just wanted to watch some football. I say all that to say this....I was listening to the pregame coaches show and a coach was asked about the flag flap. He said the team only cared about football but added this lil tidbit about a morning phone call he had taken: He recounted how a "national news media source"...he wouldnt name which one....called and wanted to know when the school planned to remove the Confederate flag stickers from the football helmets. The coach said he then explained that, in the 30 years that he had been at the school, he had never seen a sticker like that on a helmet. Just goes to show ya how far some of these outlets will go to try and make a story. |

Yeah right, it is inappropriate to fly the confederate flag BUT its not inappropriate for washington to fly the rainbow flag. Its not inappropriate for congress to re define what Almight God defined as what marriage is. Im sorry there is something wrong with this picture

Just goes to show ya how far some of these outlets will go to try and make a story. Well... Since fans aren't permitted to display confederate flags... I'm sure burning the U.S. flag in the stadium, is covered under free speech. |

Well if they want to flush history by banning the flag, maybe in Canada we should tell our First Nations that history means nothing and they have no land claims.

i see nothing wrong with the flag <shrug> but people will see what they want to see That flag was originally used to represent people who wanted to preserve the godless institution of slavery that used to be in America. Midway through the 20th Century, that flag began to be flown by white people who were opposed to black Americans having equal rights. Slavery and racial discrimination aren't things to be proud of. |

Well...
Maybe....but I can guarantee you anyone trying to burn a U.S. flag in that stadium will be greeted with an azz whipping....constitutional or not. There might be a few people here who disagree about the rebel flag, but there damn sure aren't any who disagree about the American flag.
Since fans aren't permitted to display confederate flags... I'm sure burning the U.S. flag in the stadium, is covered under free speech. People were there to watch a football game, not have political discourse ruin their evening. That $hit has gotten old. Anyway, the place was packed....guess the few who were screaming "boycott" showed up anyway.....and just kept their bltchlng on the internet. |

Its not inappropriate for congress to re define what Almight God defined as what marriage is. Im sorry there is something wrong with this picture Again, "washington" isn't "flying the rainbow flag." There is no Rainbow Flag over the White House, or over any other state or federal government building. Your complaint isn't valid, or matched by facts. I agree with you that it isn't for Congress to speak for God, but then they haven't claimed to do that either. Yes, the Republicans did spearhead a movement which resulted in the so-called Defense Of Marriage Act, which should have been seen as unconstitutional from the start. It should also have been recognized as proof that the GOP has been lying when it claimed to support States Rights, and to oppose government interference with individuals' personal lives. |

I won't buy or display one. You could say the same thing about the Holy Cross since the Cristian Identity movement all rally behind that too. |

in the very specific and detailed reality
flags are made with FABRIC and manufactured for PROFIT I dont really care who buys them or who sells them or what they do with them it becomes an issue when it is purchased by TAXPAYERS to represent citizens as a group |
