It's hell getting a date here as a uniform guy, they all think u r a scam or something. This bastards are making it hard everyday Owh really?

From a young age I have a serious personality, not easily approachable. Got worse with age. It worked to ward off suitors when I was still a student. Later it worked adversely. Thank God I found the one at last.

I feel like I have reverted back to the shy teenage girl I once was not the mature woman I have been for 20 years. it's strange to me dating at this age but hey i dont want to spend my best years alone either so here I am...

I feel like I have reverted back to the shy teenage girl I once was not the mature woman I have been for 20 years. it's strange to me dating at this age but hey i dont want to spend my best years alone either so here I am... might be that you are out of practice could also be that your standards are a bit higher now than when you were young this,, in younger years all we saw was romanticized relationships in movies, television, etc,,,,and being alone seems like hell as we get older, we learn the work that happens behind the scenes, and being alone can seem like a blessing getting older sometimes means getting more and more comfortable being with ourselves,,,

Well! I don't have a problem with dating. Maybe cos I am a guy and not really afraid to find and explore. I date from ages 20 to 40. Mostly ladies around from 20 to 30. Which is my preference. What works for me is that I am honest very honest. I am a SINGLE guy. I'm independent and live alone. Simple, down to earth and open minded. I'm mature and good natured. I put God first and foremost. I am always available and approachable - can chat day or nite. I got nothing to hide and I'm free. I say the ladies exactly wot I want and looking for. I don't beat around the bush. That's basically it.

I have been contacted by guys in the military and I start asking questions dumb and smart ones that may seem a little off except to an american and the answers I get tells me if they are legit or not. I also will tell the person I am emailing right up front that I would like to play a little question and answer game to see if they are really legit. Most that are legit play along..

For me, ANY age was/is difficult. I mean, how many guys 1) Don't drink, 2) Don't really give a flip about watching or participating in most sports, 3) Aren't that into organized religion, but are not atheist, 4) Are poor dancers, 5) Are not rich, 6) Are not a hunk with chiseled features that ladies can't take their eyes off & 7) Can't think of where to meet people (since bars are ruled out (#1), tailgating & other sports-related venues are ruled out (#2), church & related activities are ruled out (#3) & clubs are rulled out (#4))? I was in a relationship with one who had all of those qualities... Except for number one, we both drank maybe 10 times a year... Number seven wasnt an issue either..

Here in the US...50 is the new 30, 60 is the new 40, therefore..40 is the new 20

I am 48 years old and the guys that want to date me are in their 60's and 70's. I don't know what to do about that. Where I live most men are in a relationship, or they are involved in things like hunting or dirt biking. I'm not into that, so I'm not dating anyone.
