The Spirit Of The Lord is upon me
I wish to share the happiness, the brightness & the clarity with everyone who will receive it I am a humble & willing vessel through which the Bright Light of the Great Shepherd expresses His Love for His Flock... We all can be...We just have to clear ourselves of all of the stuff that would prevent us from having a clear connection with our Heavenly Creator...For the God that is real in Us. I can't speak for other people and I won't... All I can do is speak for myself and I believe in God... As for Me & My House,We will serve the Lord and just as much as someone else has the right to denounce and deny a heavenly Creator... I have just as much right to proclaim my Faith and His Holy Name Jesus The most beloved and powerful Name in all the world The Name above all names here demons tremble and flee ....JESUS... and to Shout HIS Name from the Mountaintops... Halllelujah!!!! Praise the Lord |

Once I was filled... Feb.17,1987....I came to understand in a profouundly personal way what my favorite verse has had to say all along. Hebrews4:12. John 1:14 has come to live inside me and know that that,s what will take me home where I belong when I'm finished building memories here. Galatians 2:20 explains what is going on with my life now that I'm in the House. I still want to ride a seraphim when I get there if He lets me!! Boldness got me this far and fear has no place in me!!! I would like to add that all that He does through me is His. That was the deal way back when before I was aware of the scripture in Rev. that depicts us laying our crowns at His feet...and that will always be the deal for me!! If heaven has a corner, I don't have a problem with being at the outer edges. If He wants to have lunch with me after everybody else clamors to be first... that's fine with me too. I can wait 50,000 yrs for that date, others can't. He knnew me before I was Born and He'' know me for eternity. I'm in His hand and rest in that knowledge. Grace, mercy and peace to all! hi, rap!!

Thank you Rapunzel and Wouldee good to see you here.
Praise God. I was working on this last night, and just thinking how people struggle with faith in God when they go through tragic and heartwrenching events in their lives. Others despite of the pain, have HOPE and praise their God. Here is a famous hymn from a brother in Christ: IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll; whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul. Refrain: It is well with my soul, it is well, it is well with my soul. 2. Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come, let this blest assurance control, that Christ has regarded my helpless estate, and hath shed his own blood for my soul. (Refrain) 3. My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought! My sin, not in part but the whole, is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul! (Refrain) 4. And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, the clouds be rolled back as a scroll; the trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend, even so, it is well with my soul. (Refrain) Words: Horatio G Spafford 1873 This hymn was written after two major traumas in Spafford’s life. The first was the great Chicago fire of October 1871, (which ruined him financially). Shortly after, while crossing the Atlantic, all four of Spafford’s daughters died in a collision with another ship. Spafford’s wife, Anna survived. Several weeks later, as Spafford’s shipped passed near the spot where his daughters died, the Holy Spirit inspired these words. They speak to the eternal hope that all believers have, no matter what pain and grief befall them on earth. |

Psalm 42:11 New International Version (NIV)
11 Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. |

Comfort
The Lord Jesus is not only our wonderful Savior, but He is also our Shepherd who goes before us and helps us across the difficult places. He comforts us, not with things, but with the promises of God. Notice the words of the psalmist: “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust”. (Ps. 91:2) The word “my” is used repeatedly in this verse. David did not say, “The Lord is a refuge and a fortress”. After we have trusted Jesus Christ as Savior, we have a personal relationship with Him. He is our Shepherd, and He provides all that we need. His comfort is a comfort of Love. God’s love is manifested on the cross at Calvary and also in His preparing heaven for us. Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:1,2). Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people, and those who have trusted Christ as Savior are comforted with the assurance that heaven is to be their final home. |

Missing Jesus
Acts 13:27-28 "...because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets...And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death." They didn't know Him. Centuries of prophecies were specifically fulfilled, right down to the town where Jesus was born*—and yet, when He came to the very people who expected Him, looked for Him, prophesied about Him, and prayed for a Messiah, they didn't recognize Him. Why? Because they looked at Him and judged Him by human standards, rather than seeing Him through spiritual eyes. Jesus was not recognized by His own people because they saw Him only as a carpenter's son, which meant poor. He had no money, no prestige, no special influence, nor standing in society. So they wrote Him off and paid Him no respect. He did not fit the expected profile of the Messiah. We do the same thing today. We look for people who reflect our opinion of what we perceive to be the spiritual man or woman, and to them we listen, pay attention, and give our respect and service. And yet, we just might miss the people God sends into our lives, because we're too caught up in our human standards, and fail to see what God sees. Jesus said to His disciples, "He who receives you receives me, and he who receives Me receives the One who sent Me" (Matthew 10:40). He also took the hand of a child and said, "Whoever welcomes this little child in My name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes Me welcomes the One who sent me. For he who is least among you all--he is the greatest" (Luke 9:48). Jesus told us over and over what to look for, and how to love. But we still too often miss Him. "Do not consider his appearance or his height... The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7 |

Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff.
She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, Her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped Against her eye and knocked out her contact lens. "Great", she thought. "Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and Hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry." She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn't there. She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying. She prayed for Calm and she prayed that she may find her contact lens. When she got to the top, a friend examined her eye and her clothing for The lens, but it was not to be found. Although she was calm now that she Was at the top, she was saddened b because she could not clearly see Across the range of mountains. She thought of the bible verse "The eyes Of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth." She thought, "Lord, You can see all these mountains. You know every Stone and leaf, and you know exactly where my contact lens is. Please Help me." Later, when they had hiked down the trail to the bottom of the cliff They met another party of climbers just starting up the face of the Cliff. One of them shouted out, "Hey, you guys! Anybody lose a contact Lens?" Well, that would be startling enough, but you Know why the climber saw it? An ant was moving slowly across a twig on The face of the rock, carrying it! The story doesn't end there. Brenda's father is a cartoonist. When she Told him the incredible story of the ant, the prayer, and the contact Lens, he drew a cartoon of an ant lugging that contact lens with the Caption, "Lord, I don't know why you want me to carry this thing. I Can’t eat it, and it's awfully heavy. But if this is what you want me to Do, I'll carry it for you." I think it would do all of us some good to say, "God, I don't know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it's awfully Heavy. But, if you want me to carry it, I will." God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called. Yes, I do love GOD. He is my source of existence and my Savior. He keeps Me functioning each and every day. Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him....I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13) |

Amen to that sister!
A prayer for anyone who is suffering loss: O Lord, I am torn up with grief. I know you are there, but I cannot see past my sorrow and tears. Be with me, Lord, and do not take my unhappiness to heart. Rather, work within me to guide me through these dark days and bring your light to my life, so that I may see your goodness, even in my mourning. |

This was from a devotional on In Touch Ministries:
Our Unshakeable God – Romans 8:31-39 We know from history and experience that in many ways, life is uncertain. Civilizations which once rose to glory have fallen. Impressive cities have been ravaged by war or floodwaters. On a more personal scale, relationships, finances, health, and jobs can change with unsettling swiftness. That is why it’s so important to build our faith on a rock-solid foundation—namely, our unshakable God. No one can be more loving, merciful, powerful, or just. He is the ultimate, infinite, and absolute in every aspect of His being. Nothing can make Him move, worry, or waver. We know this because He has revealed Himself to us in His unshakable book: the Bible. The Lord has allowed us a glimpse of who He is—through the history, poetry, prophecy, and narration of His timeless writings. God’s words are just as unalterable and eternal as He is (Isaiah 40:8). Over the centuries, attempts have been made, not just to destroy, but also to criticize, mythologize, and marginalize Scripture. And yet God’s Living Word has endured. This amazing book is still saving lives and bringing people into a right relationship with the Creator. The Bible can never be obliterated because its message is unshakable: The moment that you trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are sealed forever by the Holy Spirit, and you become a child of God (Ephesians 4:30). Nothing can sever this relationship (Romans 8:35-39). So stand firm on the Rock, and you will not be shaken (Psalm 16:8). |
