Hahaha sorry it's the phone Wow they are cool places Will it be a road trip? I was told you can drive so far and be in another country. It seems unreal to me because we have water around us.

i'm a gaint now lol well i'm either going to Germany or Holland got eyes on Germany but not sure yet! Well, Holland is pretty danged wet at the mo, lol. I'm sitting here with my thickest winter sweater on :/ But ... it should get warmer again this weekend!

It seems unreal to me because we have water around us. will probably fly, usually go and catch a football match or 2 and drink a few beers! it's the same for us being a little island, but obviously not as far to go to reach more land, 35 minutes to France from the south coast, once in france you can drive, literally all the way to china or south africa!

Do you still need a passport once you in France to go to other countries.? yes, to travel from the UK you need a passport, but to travel around the EU you don't ,providing those countries are part of the "schengen area" which allows uninterrupted travel between member states. obviously you'll want your passport and/or driving license for ID purposes

Thanks will remember that How safe is it what, Europe? as safe as anywhere but obviously you need to have your wits about you and be sensible and try not to offend the locals, ie:calling the Belgians, Dutch or the Danes, Swedes lol mind you there's a lot of problems in a lot of European countries at the moment cos of the immigrant problems!

giantowl last year my cousin was going to France and thought she only needed photo i.d, it turned out they all needed passports. So just incase take yours.
