I too am new to this site. I tried another, but seem to just get hits from older guys. Why is it that all the men out there are looking for women 5 to 10 years younger. I'd like to meet someone my own age...seems they're all chasing 20 years olds.

The guys are out there, hang out, relax and have a good time... that's the best way to meet someone. IMHO.

LOL How do you think I feel? I am 53 and watching the so called men my age chaseing the 20 something hootcies that shoot down all the normal women. Then when they catch them; they get tired of them usually after they have had another kid; then they dump their out of control kids for the weekend so they can go chase something better. Then these charmers want me to come over and babysit if Grandma is already sick of them and finally told them to find someone their own age, help clean up, or start a second business because the first wife caught them screwing around and took half their retirement and usually the house. Nine times out of ten if they have a house it is because they either bullied the wife out the door and kept the kids as maids or the previous wife died and you are compeating with a ghost that never did anything wrong and who completely dominates their every conversation and probably put them in medical bankrupcy. Either way both want you to abandon your life cookie cutter into one drawer in the bathroom and only do that for the weekend for a year or so of shacking up or the new popular "friends with benifits" baloney. LOL thank you for my opportunity to vent. I probably should tell you it gets better but it doesn't too often so hunker down and prepare for a long wait for anything worth having to finally come out of hiding and try again.

I look at it this way -- Just because there's no one datable on this site right now, doesn't mean there won't be someone datable here ten years from now....

Either way .. you make new friends. That is never a waste of time or energy.
